3L.co is picking up.

Good - Let the 3L's pick up!

Think most of us here own at least a few. I've been steadily picking up and I like where these prices are headed. I have not seen too many 3L CO's that have dropped on GD auctions. It seems most people are renewing.

I have sold all mine listed with a BIN on GD premium auctions, I would also recommend afternic.

Just sold AFX.co for $20...... really got screwed on this one.... purchased it for 5x the price a couple weeks ago, and somehow it sold on GoDaddy Auctions for $20 even though I can’t access my auctions membership.....

Any resemblance between .CO and .CC TLDs. Previously domainers used to compare between them.
Compare between them how? I wouldn't compare them. CC to some people means Chinese Company, to others Christian Church. You can do a quick search and notice the results are currently mixed in that way. To me either way is a limitation on its use. Anyone else agree or disagree? Curious to know.

site:.cc/ -.com/

vs

site:.co/ -.com/

I didn't know this (CC Chinese Company or Christian Church). Thanks from bringing this to my attention.

YES, FEED.CO sold for 85.000 USD, a recent sale on Sedo,

(I saw this in another thread here at Namepros, and wanted to post that here, because this is very relevant for the future of .CO , but I didn't find this thread ,I searched and searched and finally I found this thread again, but first replied to you. Then I had to reply to some incoming conversations, and I saw afterwards your post about 85K => because not everybody knows what 85"K" means, I wrote here this again, but in full numbers: The reason I do that is because not native english speakers don't know in very much cases what that 'K' stands for.Many years ago I didn't know also. Is that "K" an abbreviation of something ? I know it means "thousand", but I don't know why the letter "K" is used for that. Do you know ?).

k in small letter is short for the Latin word kilo, meaning thousand, as in km for kilometer or kt for kiloton, or kb for kilobytes.

Sorry for the doubleposting above.

Anyhow, I want to reply also concerning the LLL.CO's
I also think that lots of people keep them. But there have been sales on Namejet and there was a REPORTED sale from 4.000 USD and a sale from 1.000 USD for 2 particular LLL's a couple of months months ago, as I saw on DN-journal.

And thanks to @bludex for your answer about the "k".

"Discussion, Showcase and Sales Report Thread"

This thread has been helpful and can remain that way as long as it doesn't get spammed with poor quality domain names for sale. I received the Feed.co sale alert in my email inbox and came here to view the discussion right away, for example. Thanks to those who post such important info and provide insight into the tld.

Looks like 2018 in less than 6 months has already matched 2017.

2018 .CO Sales above $1,000
https://namebio.com/?s==kTOyMDN2cTM

2017 .CO Sales above $1,000
https://namebio.com/?s==IjMzMDN2cTM

Please notice that the higher reported sales are more likely to be one word, or, three letter (or less) domain names. Dot COM is already in the Two and Three word mature market stage. Dot CO is a one word market, though, two solid words are selling above $1,000 for example.

Also notice the spanish words in there - hermana, mundo, caliente. Colombia where the .co tld originated is a tech hub. We talk so much about India and China as if Central and South America doesn't exist.

Edison.co $12,000 sold 6/1/2018 on Sedo.

Was just curious and looked at a few .CO domain names recently purchased. I thought I might find more Europe based companies versus the Americas. Then I found this one:

Rival.co purchased for $30,000 in January. California based company with 30+ employees. The jobs link on their site links out to Lever.co another .CO domain name for a company based out of California.

Other finds out there for recent purchases?
