Actually this is my first domain name sale and happened few years ago, but I am sharing my story now.

The domain name is DiabetesGuard.com, I got from GD Closeouts for total investment of $20.57 and I sold for $2500 total price.

You can read the full story here

Do you have similar sales?

Its nice they came back through sedo, did you have privacy enabled? I have a hand reg I've sold once before to .net owners, caught it while browsing godaddy expired, lol. Haven't contacted first buyer yet, only have about $40 in it.

Actually they came back via email, first time was sedo. I didn't had Privacy enabled, but I think they came back from Bodis Inquiry form, since the domain was parked at that time.

Also nice catch on your sold domain, my advice is to keep and don't contact them. If they are still in business and still own the .net they will want it again.

Ive almost contacted them out of courtesy, maybe if another serious buyer comes along ill send them a link to the auction. :)

Cool story bro.

When i'm searching thru daily drop lists, sometimes i instantly spot domains that i have previously sold. Not in the name market, but in the SEO market. Then, if the last owner didn't harm the domain by building bad backlinks etc., i always try to catch the domain back. I think i have sold about 10 domains like this, twice, up to the date.
