Hi Guys

Just dropping in to say hello and give a little introduction.

First of i live in a small town in Ireland #verysmall but nice :), i have only just got in to Domaining with nearly all my purchases being .coms and one .ie which i couldn’t leave as it had a high DA PA and loads of relevant backlinks.

When choosing domain names i am always thinking about how i can develop them in to money making sites etc. so most of my domains have relevant words and no numbers, unfortunately Domaining is also addictive :) and every now and again there’s a Domain i have because i like the words work :) "Just and idea of how i pick my domains"

As for what i need to learn i am sure loads and i am already loosing parts of my life to the wonderful information shared here "which i hope i can give back at some stage"

But for the moment i really need to find out places to sell "trying out sedo with one domain at the moment" are there better template holding pages better than others or do better domains sell at different brokers etc basically the whole selling process really with the understanding its a long game

Anyway hope to know you all more and give back when i can

Kieran

Hi Kieran, welcome to NamePros.

There are several places where you can list your names for sale. Since you already know of Sedo, I will recommend these 3

Afternic.com
Undeveloped.com
Flippa.com.

As to whether some are better than others, I think it eventually boils down to the quality of names as that is what drives traffic to these marketplaces to begin with.

All the same, I wish you good luck with domaining.

Hello @DLogic .. and welcome to namepros!

Aside from the main marketplaces .. there isn't much more you can do aside from proactively doing outbound marketing .. you certainly can try finding brokers .. but unless your domains are extremely strong then you're going to have a hard time finding a broker. At the end of the day everything comes down to your specific domains.

Best of luck to you going forward. :)

Hey there and welcome to namepros. This is an awesome place full of very helpful people that encompass the entire spectrum of domaining, and so if there is one place to learn the ins-and-outs, it's here!

Never be afraid to ask any type of question too, as chances are if you have to ask it, others are probably also thinking it. :xf.grin:
