OK aside from what should or should not be reported, can we talk about the guy that made the topic?

He gets caught, claims it's a joke and it's moved under humor in the break room.... I mean really?

He posted a sale in a legitimate area of the forum. He forged legal documents for personal gain. I see no humor in this topic. I see someone that should be exposed as a liar and a cheater. To think I ever gave him the benefit of a doubt makes my blood boil

By moving the topic under humor it is like we are accepting his claim was a prank. Notice he closed all his sales topics and tucked his tail between his legs and ran.

In my opinion this topic should have stayed where it was and even be pinned at the top to show anyone that if they pull a moronic stunt like this they will be caught and be made an example of.

@Support Team I am not questioning your moderating, I'm just saying there is a valuable lesson here that gets lost by hiding the topic in the break room.

We do not knowingly allow fake or parody sales reports in Domain Name Sales, which means this thread could not stay there. This is consistent with April Fool threads being moved to The Break Room, as well. It's our standard procedure when a discussion thread is fake or a parody (doesn't matter which one) to move it.

Furthermore, The Break Room has less restrictive edit time limits. This means that everyone who has posted in this thread, including the thread creator, can edit their post for up to 7 days. The thread creator (OP) can also edit the title and prefix for up to 7 days from its creation.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, but according to the rules, all questions and comments on moderation must take place in the designated areas for customer support (private) and feedback (public). Please use one of those moving forward so that we can properly document and track them.

I hope the OP has learnt a valuable lesson today. They really need to work on that sense of humour.

Looks like OP account has been banned. Currently shows "Account Auto-Closed" status.

This was not our main goal to get this user banned from this forum but this was just first step and to fix this issue, NP administration should change the rules for everyone to publish sales where the domain sharing should be must.

A thread is opened - https://www.namepros.com/threads/thoughts-on-partial-sales-reports.1076436/ so I'm hopeful there would be some necessary action taken to make this forum a much cleaner and peaceful place.

I've seen multiple threads opened claiming to have made a sale that were not finalized sales,not enough details to be shared, and never heard back from the OP. Reading through those you can clearly see that it is frowned upon and called a time waster which I agree.
I know the ones who did research to prove this thread false may have had better things to do with their time but do not feel that your time was wasted here.
It certainly proved of why you ask of the details and may have saved others from dealing with a fake.
The OP chose his path and showed this is definitely one way to ruin your reputation.
