GoDaddy coupon limit

I was not able to find a working coupon after using 5 .99 cent coupons. Coupons above $1 still work for me.

I read somewhere that the limit is 5. Is this 5 per month/year or lifetime?

Almost every GoDaddy $.99 coupon code is good for only 1 domain at that price. Additional domain paid for at the same time are usually $9.99 each.

There is no limit on the number of codes you can use as long as they are all current/valid codes. They do however have some codes set up in groups so to say. For example, if you use a code that starts with 'GOFD' then most of the time you won't be able to use different codes that start with the same letters. There are exceptions but that's usually how they do it.

If you are buying many domains and want code prices then you will need to buy them one at a time and pay for each domain individually one at a time, then start the process over with a different code for another domain.

A word of warning, do not try to register too many domains in a short period of time using codes. This can get your account flagged and you could possibly lose your domains. GoDaddy can be kind of a code bully at times.

A couple a day is usually ok.

thanks. I have registered 5 domains @ 0.99 cents in one week. Not more than 2 on one single day.

Now my 0.99 coupons that i found didn't seem to work anymore but acccording to your experience it's likely not due to "coupon abuse".

I've found it's best to wait a couple of weeks and then try again, as usually they recycle codes. I've used the same code more than once using this method but it may not work for all the codes.

Your account shouldn't be flagged just for using codes, the problem occurs is when you shift domains between multiple accounts as I've seen so many people get caught out for here and I have little sympathy for them. As long as you use the codes in good faith you shouldn't have any issues no matter how many you use.

So just to confirm this. For example, register say two or three $1 domains a week with Godaddy using different codes. Sell them within a short period and push them to the buyers Godaddy account.

This will keep you under the radar ?

Best,
Paul

I have registered 5 domains per day with coupon codes for a week without any problem. Most of time account got flagged due to what @Electric-Shadow mentioned. Also use your Correct names and your own CC (with name on it). They can ask scanned photo ID (Passport/National ID) and also CC scanned copy (front and back).

I have read in the GD code thread that some codes carry the same deal so if one works then a couple others maybe fall under the same special and may not work.

Can you explain shifting b/w multiple accounts?

You can use more than one $0.99 code per account?
Can somebody write those codes?

No, you cannot, this type of coupons can be used only once per account.

But it seems you can as we see here in the thread.

It's in the past. There're many $0.99 domain coupons but you can use only one of them, and only once.
