Despite my best intentions to stay on track and accomplish my goal, I get sucked in...Suddenly I’m checking my own notifications, looking at what’s been recently posted and generally forgetting why I came to NP in the first place(To make a Sale):xf.grin:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Interesting post by someone who's been here less than a month..do you generally not stick around and are surprised you've made it this long?? < :xf.laugh: > Think you're sucked in now...wait till you accidentally start using your NP username to log into your domaining, email accounts etc or talking to your family about stuff you read when they have no clue what a domain even is.

I come back because NP clicks with me. We all got one thing in common despite our differences: Domains. Never was a fan of the Faceplants and Twits and such, but here there is that 'je ne sais quio', no matter what's going on there elsewhere in your life or the world, you can plant your ass down and learn something, say something or buy and sell something..

Anyboo, hope you keep comin' back- cheers brother.

Facebook bores me intellectually.. Namepros doesn't. I like to learn especially stuff that helps me make money.
Guess my answer would be content.

I had trouble answering just one. For me it is a mix of learning new things (both things about sales stories, problems, etc. and also how to find/learn/do new things), but also a sense of community. There is no one here I have (yet) met in person, but in some senses I feel that I "know" a variety of people. Some people on here have a pretty good sense of humour too!

I think (from what the experienced crew have posted) that in the past it was more a place to buy and sell than it is now. I am surprised that even half decent names seem to not draw much in the way of bids.

I login to my newspaper and read to my hearts content until I leave. And generally visit back at least twice more each day, as I receive notifications to replies to my threads and posts. It's essential reading, IMHO.

This thread was getting off topic. Those posts were removed.
If there are suggestions to improve NP, please post those in the Comments and Feedback forum.

Thank you for your cooperation.

☑ Valuable content has resulted in better ROI
But other mentioned points 👉 valuable too.

I'm mainly here to keep a finger on the pulse of the industry, read what people have to say about our platform and respond to questions or comments whenever necessary.

But in the process I have also bought and sold domains for/from my personal portfolio on the marketplace and learned plenty from great folks on here by reading along or participating in a few threads.

I like to see what others are interested it, the up and down trends, the sales that have been made, the ideas others have. Its a great community. Its nice to come here and bound ideas off of others who know more than I do and then, likewise, offer advice to those who are newer than I am.
