Still pretty happy with the sale after hand registering it years ago. :xf.smile:

What was the last big sale for a domain that had corp at the end of it??
This one. There ya go, now you got a benchmark. We always forget when looking at comparables that the sale you're comparing could be the comparable.

It's a kick-ass name, betcha anyone would love to have it.

Nice sale. But man, you have great foresight. Crypto wasn't even around back then.

Yeah it was....but it had nothing to do with money etc.

Benchmark a bad buy ok .. lol hey guys i just over paid for a domain make sure you benchmark this and compare your potential purchases and sales to it. Yeah I think it's a bad buy at $16,500 for a reseller. I really hope he proves me wrong and sells it for 100k. I much rather have bought a LLL.com or a one word .com then this for that price. Like i said before great sale for @MR PACKER

Have you made enough money in domains to afford a LLL.COM or one word .com? If so, let me know I have some for sale.

My success in domain names allows me to make acquisitions at this level for names that are very special. You can bash it all you like but there are levels to this and until you can see this name for what it is, you don't get to graduate to the next grade.

Have I made enough money to buy a LLL.com lol yeah how about in the last 3 weeks. I dont need to brag about my sales or the money I make. I can afford to pay 16.5 for it but I wouldnt. Theres better names to buy for that amount of money all day long.

I see the name for what it is. Its a good name but as a reseller I think you over paid and thats it end of story. People keep quoting me so im going to respond. Im glad your successful. I hope you keep making sales and i hope you sell it for 100k. Good luck

Glad to hear it, then at a minimum you are high school grade in domaining terms it would appear.

Still though, you can't see a 6fig name when it stares you in the face in this case so that's your next thing to work on :cigar:

you mean the price for cryptoco was too high to your liking or do you actually see cryptocorp as better potential/value than cryptoco? cheers

Much prefer the Corp in all respects. CO is a nice name but I don't see same value proposition for both.

they are both great. but if I had to pick.. at similar price.. I'd pick corp too.

it fits well as synonym for organization.. firm.. entity.. a very powerful sounding keyword imo.. something that says authority.. I always liked the corp keyword.

well.. cheers.. gl.

It's a premium domain. Its price is fair for the seller and the reseller. Price is what the seller is willing to pay. Congratulations to them.

Prefer Crypto/Co for a couple of reasons. The biggest reason has to be that Crypto/Corp is a registered trademark.

Noted. For the record, registered trademarks exist for MG/MT, L/7 and Keep/Calm. Thanks

Lots of factors to consider with trademarks. For example how generic is the term?... Does the current registrants ownership pre-date the TM?....TM Description/Use etc etc.

Anyway, I get the feeling you're upset about my comment which was not the goal. I was just pointing out something that hadn't been mentioned.

Best of luck with the acquisition and I'll leave it at that.

Interesting that you would bring that up, but not at all.
I always prefer a "No Thanks" but if someone feels I'm not worth responding to, I understand. We are all busy :) - HDAX.com was a nice sale!
