We just saw the sale of CryptoGame.com at $85,000. The sale was published on DNJournal.

Having personally known the seller, I know how tough the negotiation was. It would be difficult for a normal person to reach that kind of sale.
Why?

Because reaching to that level of sale would require you to reject offers which would be big enough in itself. Like let's say, you reject a $10,000 or $20,000 offer.
So, that is one kind of skill that you would need to develop for such a sale(the risk appetite, the time frame to be taken into consideration too). A key take-away is the negotiation tactics and other factors which influence such sale.
Like someone who doesn't have liquidity may opt for the very first offr that may begin with $1,000 or so(maybe).

I believe, you prepare for such sales rather than the belief that it comes to you! NO, IT DOES NOT!

Also, that shows how hot the entire crypto trend is, the vision towards investing in such names and having a foresight, taking into account the futuristic technologies and stuff.

Also, blockchain and crypto are here to stay. This is a good enough proof. And this is just the initiation phase of it all..

Your views and thoughts on this?

Are you heavily bullish on crypto names too??

This gives me hope to sell Crypto 2D at a good price as it is related to two-dimensional games.

Funny, don't think i would have paid reg fee for this. There needs to be a namebio that looks at the profile of the buyer. Who is buying all these crypto names at these prices ? and what usecase do they have ?

I like BlockchainGame.com - Buyer could have got that one for 1/3 of the price.... Especially if it's an investment and just going to be parked.

Great sale! Sometimes it is important to decline a lower offer and wait for a better bid or enquiry.

Am I the only one that thinks these sales are fake? A way to bring up the market for Crypto?

You are the only one. The seller of this particular name is a good friend

Ask him if he wants to sell my similar domain for a nice cut. :)

I just don’t get how people are that stupid. I mean I read that out of 330M Americans about 60M IQ is lower then 83. I mean thats basically an idiot. Now if we take those % we see that in this forum there are at least 100 people with iq lower then 83. I mean lower then 83 IQ you basically can’t fold paper right! Now if those people start and sell domains. What do we get from that?

Consider changing your name to Domean it suits you better.

It will fade away like every other hype. Once all realize that there is nothing you can really do with that crypto stuff. Try not to be the last one holding all those worthless crypto domains once it does.

I can’t agree more!

Don't you aware of all Dnjournal reports are verified before publish

Are you aware anyone can create a false sale, and show fake proof.
The domain industry market is controlled by domain investors not end users.
This is just another pointless trend that will end.

Don`t get me, wrong guys. If you like Crypto and those domains. You can sell and buy those for whatever you like. If you truly belive it is the future.

But if you come to a public forum and try to create some kind hype, I will smash you!! Remember that. Even you mommy from next door can`t help YOU!

All trends go away......too much of the same thing devaluates over time.

But the Crypto trend has just started, it will stay for a certain period of time because full potential of blockchain, smart contracts is yet to be harnessed.

What people fail to understand is that Crypto is not just bitcoin or ether . Even if Bitcoin become $0.001 crypto will be far from finished.
There are far more ramifications of decentralization and blockchain then one could imagine.

Till something novel crops up, the Crypto wave wont abate, at least for a few years.
So crypto domains are still good to reg.

First: Its not new.

The first work on a cryptographically secured chain of blocks was described in 1991 by Stuart Haber and W. Scott Stornetta.[17][6] In 1992, Bayer, Haber and Stornetta incorporated Merkle trees to the design, which improved its efficiency by allowing several documents to be collected into one block.[6][18]

The first blockchain was conceptualized by a person (or group of people) known as Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008. It was implemented the following year by Nakamoto as a core component of the cryptocurrency bitcoin, where it serves as the public ledger for all transactions on the network.[1] Through the use of a blockchain, bitcoin became the first digital currency to solve the double spending problem without requiring a trusted authority and has been the inspiration for many additional applications.[1][3][4]

Second:
There is nothing revolutionary in blockchain or bitcoin

But blockchain doesn’t fundamentally change how payments work. When I pay for my sword, I remove gold coins from my wallet, reducing the balance in my wallet: I hand them over to the trader, who puts them in his wallet, increasing the balance there by the same amount. If I pay for my sword with Bitcoin, blockchain technology removes bitcoins from my wallet, reducing my balance, and puts them in the trader’s wallet, increasing his balance. The fact that I don’t have to physically hand over bitcoins to the trader, because blockchain does it for me, obviously makes it a lot easier to buy my sword from a trader in China. But it is not revolutionary.

problems with this is that those who truly believe in something aren't creating hype per se... they're just.. truly believing in it.

and the difference you will never know.. so you be just going round like smashall domeen hulk, destroying all the good believing folk.. and that's just not cool.. so somoene wil have to smash you for that too eventually.
