Please tell me what was your experience if you used the Showcasing or Featuring your domain on these websites.
Is it worth the money?
Thanks.

AgreeI don't know about Sedo, but Flippa featured listing really you need to have a x,xxx$ domain at least to it to be worth it.
If your name is really good you might be able to contact them through customer support and arrange the upgrades against a higher % fee.
In Sedo, you get to auction for free if you get an offer and then send it to auction.
If your name is sh*t no one will buy it, no matter if you buy front page ad in WSJ.

Thanks guys, I agree with your response. But how do I know if I have a super or sh!t domain when I'm still new to the game.

If you just regged some name, high chances are you're not going to get many bids.
I can't edit my previous post but I want to clear a couple of things up.
I posted Colour+Animal.com in both $xxxx and $xxx sections. This is true, because one is for popular colour and popular animal ($xxxx), whereby alliterative names have more value, hence the RedRooster.com example. Another $x,xxx+ example would be BlueBird.com. Now the example in $xxx of YellowFish.com is what it is more likely to sell for. I would avoid colours or animals that are not so popular, and for sure avoid the colour grey.
I forgot to include one word premium .tv or LL.tv in the $x,xxx list.
I agree in most cases, however if there is a certain niche that is currently booming you may still be able to find a good domain or two that fits it. The Crypto and Blockchain niche that has exploded recently is the perfect example. I still found a few domains this month that I have already turned down a combined $1000 in offers for.
As previously mentioned, if you can get in early enough on a niche you can do well. You still need a keen eye on what to look out for though, this is something you pick up on over time.
I'm using flippa at the moment. I have paid $9 twice for 2 different domains both has only 7 views. I guess site traffic is not that good. I'm also using SEDO but I haven't had a chance yet to use their paid services.
I think it's the same case with flippa.I wouldn't recommend their showcasing service [SEDO]. Their visitor counter is aweful.
~99% bidders on Sedo are just another domainers like you. Please tell me what was your experience if you used the Showcasing or Featuring your domain on these websites.

Flippa is mostly used by SEO specialists...
So if your domain has no any interesting SEO parameters - don't even waste your time there...
Good points you have there.Examples of at least $xxxx+ domains (note the brackets):
Examples of zero value domains;
- mkkk.com (Chinese premium LLLL)
- hbbc.com (premium LLLL ending in C)
- ChicagoRealEstate.com (GEO)
- Fitso.com (brandable 5L .com)
- VRNews.com (vr niche name)
- CryptoNews.com (crypto niche name)
- RedRooster.com (brandable colour + animal)
- Electrile.com (brandable made up word)
- The[Popular Service/Product/Animal/Word].com (works well in some cases, such as TheBlockchain.com, TheStars.com, TheMoon.com, TheAi.com)
- Premium.[TLD] (Premium one word in a TLD that sells well. .co.uk, .net, .org, .io with tech, .de)
- EmdHighSearch.com (10,000+ local search volume is fine for a domain with 2-3 words)
- PopularSaying.com (FeelingGood.com, ShootingStar.com, GetLucky.com, OnYourWay.com)
- 38372.com (5N with no 0 or 4)
Future tech trend domains are fine to pick up even if they have no value now. Names like BlockchainSoftware.com had no value 5-6 years ago. Read enough news, follow trends and such for this. I posted SleepingSensors.com in an available thread recently. It maybe worth $xxxx one day, it may not be. These names are in most cases a bit of a punt, so don't make an entire portfolio out of names like this or you risk losing money.
- StupidlyLongDomainWithNoSearchVolume.com (a long hard to remember name with almost no end user appeal)
- CelebrityName.com (don't do this)
- ApplePhones.com (don't do this)
- Aavvx.com (don't do random 5L+ with no pronounceability)
- MyNameHasNoNiche.com (don't do this)
Hopefully can give you more of an idea.
One last thing, examples of $xxx domains, so if you get these for mid $xx or less are worth it, these sort of names are how most domainers make money.
- [Small Geo][High value word].com (This is a geo area with maybe lowish population, say 50,000, mixed with a popular service like real estate/property, seo, attorney).
- YellowFish.com (brandable and memorable two word. Colour + animal can do well).
- SmallNiche.com (Exact EMD small niche with 1-5k local exact search volume or 100-1000 local search volume and high cpc).
