advice Heads up - Warning about Namecheap glitch

I just noticed by accident a domain I bought on Namecheap a few days ago expired the same day.

Check your account in case this affected you as well !!

BTW this was a hand-reg and I only noticed when checking something on another site. Needed support to fix it. Not sure if it's widespread or just one of mine.

I don't like Namecheap. Glad i don't have my domains expiring prematurely with them

All transferred to them recently on moveyourdomain day.

I'm okay with NameCheap, just don't care much for their interface. Slow. Also, I've noticed their domain search panel is not reliable. Often shows names available that are not. I always have to double check on other sites.

This is true. Tried buying one that ended up not being available at all, anywhere for any price lol.
