Actually, I have two:

1) Their premium network. This is the second time I've been offered to opt for fast transfer with my listing. Both times I got a mail from Afternic that I'm ABOUT to receive a mail which I need to click to verify the fast transfer. Both times I didn't get any mail. I googled this and at least one other person has the exact same experience. Has anyone got this before? What to do?

EDIT: The registrar with both is GoDaddy.

2) OK, this one is also important for me. If you list a new reg for sale, if the buyer is using the same registrar, it automatically goes there, right? What if they are using another registrar? Isn't there a 60 day period where transfers are prohibited or something?

Thanks all for the help.

1. You will get that e-mail once the 60 day period is over. Unless your domain is not under transfer lock.
2. There is no way around the 60 day lock, so no it won't transfer out. The buyer would have to make a Godaddy account if he/she wants the domain within those 60 days.
I hope that helps.

Thank you, it does clear things up. However,

1) I recently purchased a domain that is at least several years old. It wasn't a transfer, it was godaddy to godaddy but I still didn't get that mail. Do I need to wait 60 days even if the domain changes hands on the same registrar?

2) Aha. So what happens if a buyer clicks to buy my domain within the 60 day period? Do they just have to wait it out if they don't use godaddy?

1. Check your Godaddy account. If the domain is under lock, you'll see it there.
2. Yes, either wait or make a Godaddy account (It's free and the easiest way).

Thank you for your help. It seems the domain is under transfer lock, for some reason.
