No thanks I will hold onto my names. Anyone who follows these matters know crypto is here to stay in one form or another.Will it undergo change and regulation? Very likely. Will it be called something else and other words become meaningful?Likely.All things have trends. This will be no different.

This ad ban will cease when governments begin to have regulation and enforceable rules in place regarding starting ICOs, etc. They don’t care about people losing money—they just want a chunk of anything that is considered money. And they will get their cut one way or the other.

We are in the instill fear stage. Then let the governments come and fix the big scary coin market for us It’s allready in the works.

Everyone got the right to have their own opinion, there's an old frase i think is appropriate for this conversation "One man's trash is another man's treasure".

My question is when all crypto ads are banned on google, facebook and likely some other venues, and nations like Russia (is going to do soon) banning crypto-currency transactions how could that market possibly NOT nosedive? Seems impossible it would not go off the cliff. In fact, I predict at least a 90% decline from its 20k high to 2k or lower in the near future. imo this will be much bigger than the chinese-chips and long tail keyword declines in value. I would not be surprised to see the CME bitcoin futures go limit-down on Mon.

Crypto currencies make possible to send-receive payments anonymously. Governments hate it as they can't tax an anonymous cash payment. But they are unable stop it technically, so they can only frighten users and this is what they do. Crypto currencies will be used until governments can find a better technology to stop it.

Value of ETH or Bitcoin is affected by investors. So it's irrelevant. Nothing changes if a currency loses value against to another currency. Crypto currencies are not for investment. People misunderstand crypto. They are just currency like traditional fiat currencies. Who hold a fiat currency for investment? We use a traditional fiat currency to buy or sell something, we buy real estate for investment and pay the seller in fiat money. Isn't it? Crypto currencies are same, are not for investment. You buy a domain or a real estate to invest your savings and can send payment to the seller in bitcoin instead of fiat money. But you shouldn't hold bitcoin for investment as it's only a currency, not an investment. Therefore value of bitcoin is important only for those who use bitcoin for investment.

Hope so, I have bids in the $2k range if it happens and buy more aggressively starting at $4k down

I think the Crypto market is just beginning. There will always be ups and downs.

Speaking of Chips. You should look into CoinPoker (CHP) They have a good beta platform out, price is well below ICO due to market dips and seems like a nice entry point.

I thought that too. But I'm not a crypto expert. In fact I know almost nothing about it. But I think that posting false or fake information claiming something has happened, when it hasn't. Should not be tolerated on NP's. It's counter-productive. At best. Potentially destructive. At worst.

Picked up a little BTC just now, really negative sentiment out there. Could drop here a lot more or go above $10k in no time. Either way, I don't mind, will either just add more or ride on.
