Ah.. Also, i see a trend. Not much sales happening on SEDO/Afternic lately. Max sales that we see are done on Namejet, Dropcatch or Godaddy...

Hi,

It’s Fair deal for both buyer as well as seller. I still think buyer has good upside room in future considering it’s probounceable 3L and CVC pattern. Only 2205 such names possible. But may be 2 non premium letter “U & V” played its part to keep price at the level it got sold.

HUV = Hybrid Utility Vehicle!!!! Just my guess.

Lowest reported sale of 3L was around $9500 in January 2018 in China. So overall it was ok ok deal. Pronounceable with nonpremium letters and buyer may have thought about some upside room in future which is possible too considering around only 17K 3L.com in market.

Thanks

I think it was good deal.

I also think Huv.com can reach a much higher price if it sells privately to right enduser.

Cheap if you consider what TRU.com will probably fetch when Toys R Us puts it on the market.

XUQ.com $15,600
MVQ.com $15,965
YIG.com $16,000
ASY.com $15,000
UJW.com $14,300
OQS.com $13,600

UGR.com $14,800
VKH.com $14,000
KOV.com $15,327

As you can see, the letters V, and U don’t do very well.

Best deal here is ASY in my opinion.

The Q is very popular in Chinese, and used often. <----- Q is actually Chinese and Asian Premium.
The V on the other hand I agree, it is not used often. It could be vehicle as pointed out, or venture, or value.

LLL is a collector thing, in a few years you will see that it is cheap. I remember in 2003-2004 LLL.com went for as low are 100-300 each. In 2008 about 1k-3k each. Now in 2018 about 20-50K each on average.

Market's been picking up so it lead to a nice profit to the buyer. Definitely got a good deal on it.

I agree. Anything above 20k seems fair to me. But like someone said, there is still some resale value for the new owner.

I agree with Josh.. 16k for HUV is ok as a reseller price.. I don't think it's a bargain

I haven't been watching LLL.com for years now. When did LLL.com take such a significant drop from the 20K+ going rate?

The seller was probably hit with student loans this month.
