"
who has owned it since 1993, isn’t selling."
This was mention in the article.
@Premiums mention:
"Tot I saw this name listed on sedo
nothing new...
I bought a domain name through Sedo at BUY NOW price
I've sent the money to Sedo. Everything's fine
March 12th
Transaction cancelled by the seller !
Sedo mentioned : As the seller is not or no longer the owner of this domain, he is not authorized to sell it.

I checked out the thread and it's mention by
@coucou
"Well. I
checked out the WHOIS : the owner is still New Ventures Services.
I've sent an email to New Ventures Services and asked if the domain is for sale."
I'm confused how can the whois record show the owner was New Venture Services (in any point of time) if Matt Blaze is the owner of this domain name since 1993 and if New Venture Services were the owner once it had to be before 1993, so the name had to be listed on Sedo since before the year 1993.
I did my own whois check and it currently shows Matt Blaze is the owner, something here doesn't add up.
Also i bet if someone offered $20 Million (believe me there are people out there with that kind and even much higher stupid money to spend) or maybe even $10 Million to Matt he would run as fast as he can to his email to write offer accepted.
Also if he had offers in the $8 Million and the crypto currency trend starts to go down drastically i think it would pass in Matt's mind to email the person with that offer saying "is the offer still available".
@Kingslayer and other members mention crypto currency is unstable and controversial. It might go extremely high or it can go the other way "down" in the future, the stock market was also great until it crashed in the past, a big amount of people lost big amount of cash and the ones that got out before it crashed made a lot of money.
