On sedo.com a domain was mistakenly purchased by me but I don't want that domain, and I have mailed them about this problem but they are sending me mails to make payment of 8000 USD , now what to do ? I don't have even 5 dollars I am a student . I don't have that much money. How can I get out from this situation , please help me. They are saying that they will take legal action against me. Please help me.

I have read only replies on page 1 ,
your name is an indian. So i assume your from india, They wont probably file any case in court because it takes so much time and money to get your work done in indian courts there are already so many criminal and other records and those take soooo many years.

Steps to bid on name:

1) Enter amount
2) Confirm offer
3) Sign in/create account
4) Complete certification (if necessary)
5) Agree to terms/conditions ("contractually binding sale"..)
6) Confirm offer.. again..

Clearly was not a mistake, and do not understand the thought process of someone doing this lol.

But nothing will likely come about. Learn from it and move on.

Listing a domain for sale requires one to login to SEDO account, go to Add domains, add domain, set price and confirm ownership. This happens in Account area. To buy a domain, you have to go to Auctions page or front page and search. Clearly, OP is a fool to say he 'accidentally' bought the domain.

This thread is a clear case of a desperate Domain seller trying to sell his sh*t.

It is better to ban him at sedo. immagine he is asking them to exchange his changeit.info for a .com domain name.

Hey don't worry ,I sell domains all the time at afternic and the buyers always back out ,every time afternic says ,we suspend people for this ,which is total BS ,sedo has to be the same. also chances are your full of crap,but this can happen .

I will tell you what to do, Call Sedo Germnany Branch +4922134030186, Please talk nice to them, tell the agent what happened, Make sure you tell the agent this is the first time you did something like that, apologize then ask them to close this case and you will never do it again.
They will close this case, that all.

No need to be scared. With a few esthetical touch and changing the ID and moving to a new country you are good to go. Kidding of course.

Dont pay, as it is obvious you will not do. You will be banned from sedo and the seller wont do anything to go after 8K spending another 8K.

But next time do your homework. If this was a premium name the seller may had gone after you.
