Hillary Clinton nearly falls down stairs in India -- twice!
And Trump may or may not be afraid of stairs, what’s your point? Lots of private citizens trip on stairs in India and elsewhere. That’s just needlessly mean.

Trump said Tuesday that "Rex and I have been talking about this a long time."

How long was Rex the SOS? lol

A year’s a lifetime in this administration...

Nothing fails to keep me amused.

The mayor of London enters the US to lecture US companies as though there are some international free speech laws and the need for more censorship. He can’t even control his own Zoo, with the attacks there. I guess he mistakenly believes we are still part of the “colony”.

I am sure glad that independent websites exist, as social media will be done, all left, all biased and propagandized more and more. Censorship is here already, more searching today and google can’t find the Maxine Waters comments, only CNN. Google search is supposed to be “user intent”, now its becoming “google censor intent”.

Then you’d think the Khan he might have some sort of best foot forward approach to the tension, and at least handshake with the President, but instead bypasses diplomacy and does not bother to meet with the president.

So now he gives a public speech? this foreigner nobody is allowed to be involved in American business and politics? How stupid. Meanwhile, the American woman Pettibone is simultaneously kicked out of the UK. I suppose he is “special” I have no idea why, he is an ordinary person like Brittiney, not a registered diplomat just a mayor, (correct me if I am wrong and he has a diplomatic passport) he has no free speech rights since he isnt American, nor has any business telling americans on our soil what we can say and do. KMFA. but of course I suppose he was invited by leftists to speak.

Mean?:ROFL: And what about all those exotic words you and others have to describe Trump?

Now I'm gonna look for more "needless mean" stuff about Hillary...

Why?
That number represents a loss of expertise,

We have no ambassador to South Korea.
We have no ambassador to Turkey.
And about 40 other countries.

These are key positions in important strategic regions, not government excess. Nominees were not blocked, there have been no nominees.

Frankly IMO, these Ambassadors are old school. With Skype, who needs this expense? What real function do they serve other than symbolic? Please educate me as to what function they do that cannot be done remotely? Spy outlets I suppose. They also issue passports, and cutting immigration means bye-bye to those jobs. Secretary of state could have floating staff flying around on commercial flights as needed instead. What do they do at foreign embassies? They dont help many travelers, just stamp passports. I have read story after story about no help to travelers. Non essential imo. And look what happened at Benghazi. Disgusting.

I would cut all administration in Govt, and increase pay of the 20% who do a great job supporting the 80% non producers unable to be employed outside the DC Swamp. Give them severance, poof no more ongoing overhead. One Ambassador per geograhic region to cut ribbons, shake hands and smile for the camera. Lol. This isn’t morse code era, instant communications make certain jobs obsolete. Turkey is a mess. Forget it. They hate us anyway. Most all of Africa too.

And the Jerusalem embassy thing, its to me devisive, for the US now currently has enough Pro Palestine haters of the US, wait to see that mess in the future. Someone explain to me why the move? More symbolic than productive it seems.

When Ross Perot spoke in 92 of more Govt employees versus manufacturing jobs was 10 years after the beginning of the current demise. Way too many Govt employees and paper shuffling are simply non essential overhead. Smart private companies reduce overhead expenses to get budget under control. The Veterans admin is still a mess. The VA has hundreds of Admin/Medical officers/Dr’s that make more money at $250-400k a year. Especially in lower cost states. Thats more than private practice, ridiculous. Private Doctors risk malpractice and their entire business to make less than some Govt employee, who cannot be fired? Career bureaucrats need to be filtered out, less chiefs and better pay for indians.

https://www.federalpay.org/employees/occupations/medical-officer. 2016

https://www.federalpay.org/employees/occupations/medical-officer/2007 Notice the overhead increase, since 2007 yet Veterans services declined.

The Veterans themselves deserve the best treatment and medical care, great hands on surgeons, nurses and non administrators are needed. From what I read, they are not being paid what they deserve. I think entire system should be somehow semi privatized. Behind Pentagon, 2nd in most overhead.

The President announced military pay raises today, excellent move. Maybe if they laid off administrators it might be more balanced.

1992 Flashback from a great guy. 26 years of uncontrolled Govt growth, doubling deficit, increased imports, job losses in private industry. Everything has gotten worse since then. He speaks of the lobbyist revolving door way back then.

Cressida Dick, the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police and Muslim Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan... When you have a Dick and a Khan't in charge, what else can you expect?

Are the normal police still unarmed bobbys? Never understood that. His visit to texas and lecture about censoring people that vocally dislike him is complete B.S. if he does not want to read twitter, then turn it off. Turn off all the fiber into the UK, problem solved. Don’t dictate laws internationally.

Old and busted: Tillerson is a RU stooge.

New liberal hotness: Tillerson fired for opposing RU.

Tillerson also called out Russia for what it is. Maybe he struck a nerve.

His calling out Russia is all the more remarkable given his very extensive ties with Russia, he even got an award from Putin himself. Not a fan of the guy at all, but he seems to have more spine than his boss. And a moderating voice in comparison to his successor.
I don't know where he stands exactly but at least he was telling it like it is, because 45 wouldn't.

One of the first things Sadiq Kahn't did after being elected mayor of Londonistan was to ban these and other similar ads from public transportation...

But... he has no problem with...
‘Praise Allah’ bus slogans get green light just months after Lord’s Prayer ad gets banned
The slogan reads ‘Subhan Allah’ – which translates as ‘Glory be to God’ – and will feature on hundreds of buses across the country as part of a campaign by the Islamic Relief.

Sadiq "the Snake" Kahn, hates Trump, hates conservatives and Christians and managed to get elected because the majority of London's population is non-British with a very high % being Muslim and they vote for the left wing Labour Party, a party that is only a step or two from being comunist.

The Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn is a great admirer of Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Nicolas Maduro, Hezbollah, Hamas, Muammar Qaddafi and was very upset when U.S. Navy SEALs killed Osama bin Laden. Another POS that could win the next UK elections. If Teresa May is pretty useless, just imagine this ass*ole in power

As for Bobbies being armed, Kate would give you better info, but from what I understand the majority don't carry arms, except in Northern Ireland. But I wouldn't be surprised if things don't change, if crime and terrorism increase a lot more, which has been happening in recent years, especially with the non-stop invasion of illegals from all over in tthe past decade or two.

The Vast Majority of U.K. Police Don’t Carry Guns. Here’s Why.

Ambassadors are official representatives of their heads of state. They coordinate the other two dozen or so US departments that operate in a region. If they got the position by working their way up through the foreign service (not all do) they know the history, the people, the culture, the issues, the language, and have relationships in the region that they can leverage when needed.

Embassies and embassy personnel (consuls, vice consuls, etc.) are there to support American travelers and expats in the country.

Meetings can employ global teleconferencing technology (more sophisticated than Skype) but don’t fully substitute for face to face meetings where you can shake someone’s hand, and bond and converse less formally over a meal. The relationships you build can be a valuable tool in diplomacy.

His calling out Russia is all the more remarkable given his very extensive ties with Russia, he even got an award from Putin himself. Not a fan of the guy at all, but he seems to have more spine than his boss. And a moderating voice in comparison to his successor.

Despite the award, he seems to have fallen out of favor with Vlad at least several months ago.

Joy Behar Responds to Vice Pres. Pence and Apologizes | The View

Joy Behar has a long history of attacking Christians

Joy Behar, believes faith in Christ is a “mental illness.” She’s trashed Christians her entire career and now we’re supposed to believe this apology?

Hey Joy... Your Fake apology is NOT accepted...

If they got the position by working their way up through the foreign service (not all do) they know the history, the people, the culture, the issues, the language, and have relationships in the region that they can leverage when needed.

Then are they still effective now in 2018? and if so in what? I mean for example private busineses usually have sales reps, contracted in the country in which to do business. No embassy gets involved normally. This sort of job could be privatized as well, hire on the ground consultants and give jobs locally as needed. I know the CIA does it anyway. Locals, just like sales reps.

Meddling in other governments has caused so much war, fighting and other problems. Right? The US imposing our capitalism around the world hasn’t been successful, otherwise all these illegal immigrants would prefer to stay in their home country. Inequality and Caste systems still exist and won’t go away. Foreign interventions post WW2 are to me almost all total failures. Maybe Kuwait and the UN in former Yugoslavia but that was combined EU work. Failures like Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan (sadly is dragging on forever, I recall the Soviet occupation days). Now Syria.

Now all the EU pushback on the FANG. Thats simple, the EU does their own censoring at their own discretion and expense. If this Khan does not like it, well they can censor it themselves.

Look at our own hemisphere in Latin America, United Fruit exploitation, overthrown Allende, what impact were ambassadors in argentinas dirty war? They ran away asaik. Then the bungling of the Bush takeover of Iraq.

I think you know that I represent a low budget, hands off approach, small govt, small business just the opposite of these messes we get in. I go overboard on the isolationism thing, but agree with the America first program, but remain skeptical. Disruption is the new cliche’ word, so disrupting traditional government seems to be advantageous to me as a taxpayer. My 2 cents.

Close, just 755 apart

Lamb - 107,556 - 49.9% - Dem
Saccone - 106,801- 49.5%

Just woke up, heard they're counting absentee ballots right now

Not looking good for Republicans, even if Saccone manages to come back and squeak by

only 95 vote lead now

Lamb back up by 847, absentee votes in some counties counted tomorrow, red counties

3206+ absentee ballots to be counted, Saccone needs to get 63%

Trump won by 20% here

Washinton County to count 1,195 tonight instead of tomorrow

Just heard that district is 94% White, and a Dem can win.

Projection: Barring a major tabulation error, Conor Lamb (D) has defeated Rick Saccone (R) in #PA18.
Dave Wasserman‏Verified account @Redistrict 1m1 minute ago

No matter what happens tonight in #PA18, I want people to remember 2 things: 1. There should've never been a special election in the first place. Tim Murphy had a sex scandal involving his mistress. Republican values. 2. This is a Republican district. It shouldn't even be close.
