Apparently the NamePros Effect has taken over at Brandpa!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I hope they still accept new buyers ;)

Growing pains aside, I really think Brandpa does many things very well in the Brandables market.
But the logo's for the most part are not great. I'm not sure why they don't farm out the logo's to a few designers on Fiverr. You can get a great logo made there for $5. I'm sure there is one designer at Fiverr that would bang out 50 simple logos a day, no problem. @Jowita Emberton

I agree. I am not impressed with their logos either.

They are just getting caught up IMO, with the influx of submissions I think it's smart to hold off on new submissions to concentrate on the current submissions.

Nice to see a company value their sellers and customers over growth.

Agree with @urlurl. This is a good move by Brandpa. Rather this minor and temporary pain than long term loss of reputation due to reduction in quality

not sure why you would want to limit sellers...more domains means more chances to connect with a buyer

Over-saturation leads to low market value. Low Market value will lead to substantial business and reputation loss. Hence the temp stay on domain submissions

It’s a 12 day hiatus to catch up. Not sure why this is being discussed at all. Anyone who has anything to do with Brandpa got the email announcement.

We hired two different logo designers at fiverr paid one $25 another $50 both gave up and refunded the money after failing to come up with what we needed (for a new company). Not that they didn’t try one of them created multiple versions until he agreed that we just weren’t on the same page. The lost fiverr transaction fees alone were almost $5. lol

Who makes a good logo at fiverr for $5. I’d love to see the URLs who are they?

Whatever, to me "brandpa" has no importance at all... I did not even bother to visit their site so far... lol

Brandpa's Quantity restrictions are only to select the Quality names. Only quality names sells. Why should they spend their lot of time on seeing domain names which are not even worth a penny? Moreover, the restriction will also help the sellers to send only quality names.

Hahaha post a request for Tier1 brandables and see how quick you can work through the responses hahahahha. I can’t imagine the amount of submissions they must have gotten

This is because the free service name submission. I’d rather preffer stay 12 days or even more to let them set up properly again than pay 10$ for a name on the market.
I think they did a good choice indeed.

I like their published names. It seems quality is high compared to competitors.
