After quite a bit of negotiation I finally acquired the domain Red (dot) ca today.

It was the same way I buy most of my domains, I cold contacted the owner and we did the deal via email and telephone. In this case it was an ex domainer who answered my emails and it we negotiated back and forth stating pros and cons for ownership to dollar value.

In the end I can say the seller is happy and as the new owner I am also happy.

I will be re-branding the domain as a Canadian Domain Re-seller with a logo similar to my current avatar.
It will be a Red Dot with .ca in white writing.

It will be used for my current MapleDots .ca & .com website and it should be a great fit with the whole red dot logo branding I have in use.

Yes the Canadian .ca market is taking off with lots of new players in the game.

I have a few more big ones in the works right now and hopefully I'll be able to report in with them soon.

Coincidentally, I got my VIP badge today.
Maybe you just have to spend some money to get one of those :xf.laugh: :xf.laugh: :xf.laugh:

Good Move, because frankly noticing that you were willing to sell the name of your flagship business, MapleDots, from your front domain store url and a portfolio end destination site was akin to seeing someone willing to sell one's left or right arm, if not their mother ;)

MapleDots is marked as a developed site on our list of domains and is not for sale, we are just showing example of maple domains and logos in use.

However, now that you mention it, I may have to put a footnote on that (y)

I read up before on warren hamm and his gig. Hope it turns out, nice name
http://dnjail.com/warren-hamm-locked-dnjail/

DNJail needs to take that down.

Warren and I worked on a verbal handshake, he even transferred the domain before I paid him.

To me he was a stand up guy, true to his word in every way. He discussed the previous sale attempt with me and I do not think it's my place to get into that but I can tell you with me he was as stand up as you can get.

If I had to rate him on namepros it would be excellent (y)
