may be not so a little while ago, but now even google search shows cryptos plenty of times.

I've been registering numerous Symbol + "coin.com" domains. Have about 40 so far that I bought @ reg and have sold 3 thus far for $500 each. Not bad if you ask me. I'll take that return and immediately throw that profit back in coins/altcoins

now had that domain been regged elsewhere, we could be having all this bidding drama end with a seller renewal

no wonder people let their domains expire on purpose then go on expired autions just to see what they'd fetch.. and then renew. it sucked for bidders, but its a pretty awesome tool for testing current markets..

Let me add little bit more on top of your info.

Godaddy Expired domain can be renewed during auction is running. I was behind couple names and it got renewed on 30th day of expiration. So do not know when Godaddy add them into auction pool.

Godaddy should add expired names to expired auction pool once it pass 30 days period.

One more tricky thing here is Godaddy list expired names from other partnering registrar too whose renewal policy may be upto 45 days. Names can be renewed in that situation too. Still there are lots of things which are not clear.

@Joe Styler can you please clarify or share if I am mistaken here?? I can give you 1 example that ELDI.com was on Godaddy auction until it got renewed on 30th day of expiration and may be couple days before auction gets over.

as I mentioned before (and others on other threads), domains regged on gd cannot be renewed after 30 days. expired auctions begin day 26. last 10 days. so you can do the math

however, domains regged elsewhere can be renewed up to 40 days in some cases. so after gd auction ends. dotster is one such registrar.

however, if gd auction ends with bid (or bin closeout sale) they get the domain out of the other registrar usually within 24 hours of closing sale. which means many sellers who wait til last moment do miss opportunity to renew anyway.. even if registrar allow them to do so til 40 days.
