hi all.

there is a lot of threads around for all kinds of extensions.. and I know most or many just want the good old .com . and put some more life into it for as cheap as possible...

so I am starting this thread so folk can just find out how to put some more life into your .com for cheaper than regular price.. via either transfer or renewal dicounts/promos/blackfriday/coupons etc. of course as we all know, renewal discounts are nearly non existent. so most of the stuff here should be transfer.

so anything.. blackfriday... boxing day.. xmas.. or just plain old coupons or other promos..

the cutoff price is $8. please do not post deals that are more than $8.

north american located registrars only please. canada and usa.

do not post hostgator or 1&1 deals here.

please keep thread on topic.

I'm just gonna post best trasnfer >$8 deals once here (after icann fee ~20cents):

epik.com 8.1 transfers.. gotta email support to get special pricing
-> expiry date unknown. check.

godaddy 8.2 transfer with domain club only (~70/year on coupon)

namesilo regular transfer 8.4.. never mind the one time coupon $1

I find their wording weird.. they say upto 40% savings on transfer .. but transfering io and co yields more like 90% savings.. at the price they offer.

any thoughts or confirmations on co/io????

plus I don't think they've ever done these for co/io either in past.. on this promo

hasn't been in a while.

So it's Name.com @$8.25 and NameSilo @$8.39 for me.. gonna transfer NameSilo names to Name.com and Name.com names to NameSilo.. lol

gd is bit cheaper if u want
8+icann

good to have names ready for push there for the gd auctions sales.. whcih is where most action happens for most domainers

and no.. u do not need domain club membership to get lowest transfer prices

Do you just auction it there, or go for any $additional paid options, because i found none of my domains receiving any bid there, may be my domains are not worth or I am missing some trick there...

99% of my stuff is makeoffer only there.

you can run free 7 day auctions if u want. but I don't.

and yet, 90% of all my sales are on gd auctions.

but that's not just me. majority of domainers get majority of their sales on gd auctions. I think this is true.

and why wouldn't it be so.. its the biggest most popular registrar hands down.. greatest # domains, listings, sellers, buyers.. exposure.. etc..

It's safe to use CC at LCN.com. I've been using since 1year and they are popular and reliable in UK. Only issue is their domain management control panel which is very slow and not user-friendly. But their customer chat support is very good.

If i will transfer my domains to LCN.com for $6.49 do i will be able to transfer them OUT benfore the end of the year? Do they have free push service?

LCN offers great phone support 7 days a week ( UK hours )

The only downside for me is that I can't bulk forward my domains there. One at a time is time consuming.

You can transfer out 60 days after the initial transfer to lcn.com. Free push is available

Yes you can transfer out without any fee.
