Bought it. Funny thing is after I bought it, it took literally two minutes for it to show in my account, but for few hours it was still showing as available at bin at godaddy at the same price. So would have been awkward if someone else hit BIN there.

@Joe Styler would be nice to fix this bug before there is a double purchase of the same inventory )

Yeah we know about it. It's being fixed. Thanks for bringing it up. Whoever the first buyer was would get the domain but I think the only examples I have seen of double purchases as a result of this were the same person trying to buy the domain again because they thought it was still available.

Thanks for clarification. Can you pleaese answer me about the question I have??

What if I remove Bin from Afternic.com and sold the name via Escrow.com ?? It’s still showing on GD as available to purchase with BIN. What happened if someone hit BIN on GD and try to purchase even BIN was removed from Afternic??

Last week I completed 1 sale outside via Escrow.com . I removed BIN at Afternic but still Name was available on GD with BIN even after 12-24 hours.

Yes that will happen. Domains will not be removed from our sales platform for 24-48 hours. We say 48 in the terms of service for any update, price, removal, whatever. We have over a hundred reseller partners at other registrars and over 17 million domains for sale. To get everyone to update their inventory in real time is not possible. We have made improvements as technology improves but not all registrars can do it. We also do a final check on a domain before adding it to the cart that is closer to real time and should be real time soon and that should catch that the domain is not available but it will not always catch it because of the factors I described above. There are variables. Which is why we give ourselves 48 hours in the terms. Practically speaking the vast majority are updated within 24 hours and a good many calls to buy a removed name would fail with the final check, but again, not always.

same happens when we adjust the prices at afternic. it will take some to get updated on afternic.
