@mr-x @TheDot.shop @offthehandle I already know the other x doesn't believe they existed.

Just out of curiosity for you guys. This is a very simple question, yes or no.

Do you guys believe dinosaurs existed, yes or no.

I just need to know how far gone some are.

Ima laugh my ass off when this turns out to be the very best parade, attended by the most people ever.

Seriously, based on one WaPo article, this could be like an air show around different parts of the country. I'm fine with that as long as it's classy with the very best people.

ha, this draft dodgin', POW hating, guy with ego issues wants a parade. Let's waste some more tax dollars.

Trump’s ‘marching orders’ to the Pentagon: Plan a grand military parade

"After The Washington Post first published this story, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued a statement confirming that plans are underway.

“President Trump is incredibly supportive of America’s great service members who risk their lives every day to keep our country safe,” Sanders said. “He has asked the Department of Defense to explore a celebration at which all Americans can show their appreciation."

Maybe have some pics of Trump at the parade

Of course they did! What does that have to do with judging 4.5 billion years of the earths climate using 138 years of recorded temperatures? Because we all believe that climate change is cyclical means that we are too far gone? You are a piece of liberal work JB!

He has ego issues. It's insulting to the military to use them like his little toy. The whole world knows we have the strongest military. We don't need to parade them around like some of these other countries.

Do you believe dinosaurs existed? Y or N

As far as climate change, if you want to roll with the 3% that are usually paid off by fossil fuel companies, ok, that's on you.

Oh yeah.. that's funny. From a guy who still believes the man who said Florida and NY would be under water in 10 years, then bought an ocean front mansion in FLORIDA.

Sucker probably bought tickets to the sequel.

I never mentioned Gore, I mentioned NASA and the 97% of real scientists. You mention quack scientists paid for by fossil fuel companies. Or post up climate change denier blogs.

It's the first thing I answered!

That's good.

Remember that Al Gore invented the Internet right? And he probably takes credit for inventing all the hoopla surrounding Global Warming too. Scientists have been arguing about this back and forth. Something there isn't enough real hard, concrete data for enough period in time to make real assessments. The stupid algorithmic predictions and mathematical modeling is all usually theoretical horseshit.

I came from an industry divided between real hands on practitioners who actually did the work, and those paid Phd's who sat at their desks trying to prove or disprove everything was incorrect mathematically. They published all these equations that nobody but a few of their peers ever looked at and never knew how to turn on the instrumentation either. Sad, because it was a small niche field where they could BS their entire career, continue to get govt contracts and grants and waste ton's of money publishing papers, all because few understood the details.

I recall one instance where I advised some junior graduate newbie with no hands on experience what he wrote in his specifications and showed me on paper and drawings wouldn't work. They didn't listen, but I had no ego and wasn't my department or responsibility anyway. Actually, wasn't my place at all even to comment, but I did out of concern for corp benefit and the lopsided thinking. It was something I commented in passing while in their engineering dept. I had hands on experience with solving the problem already at another employer. Later a year or so after I quit (after tiring of the large corporate idiocy), I was told by my ex boss that decision not to believe me cost them $2,000,000. in extra engineering costs. All because, of believing in written theory and mathematical models and his engineering and formal schooling. Crazy stuff.

Some Scientific people that make up all sorts of theoretical shit on paper, write spec's, and are unfortunately too pompous, over educated, lack common sense to look at pragmatic ideas, solutions, etc. It's sad and funny really.

The fact that the air is polluted, there are too many people, the ozone layer expanded and contracted, and other measurements I certainly don't argue with factual data if measured and reviewed by all parties- but the cause and solutions I don't believe anyone has any answers nor if anyone knows what temperature changes have occurred prior to the first measurements. Just like the Dinosaurs, nobody knows for sure what happened, all is speculation.

Ahh.. the 97% bullshit published by an global warming advocate who extrapolated that number by counting articles that mention global warming.

We're done. You've got nothing but discredited talking points

1) Scientist explains why computer models predicting long term climate change make poor predictions.

2) Liberal argues scientist is not credible because he's not a climatologist and takes money from sources liberals don't approve of.

3) Conservative points out every major prediction has been wrong.

4) Liberal, do you guy even believe in dinosaurs !!

Great talk.

Some of your brethren don't. So it's not a stretch others don't as well, since you deny other reality as well.

Do you actually believe these sorts of graphs? I mean, they even state the data is taken by looking at "tree rings" and extrapolating data back 800,000 years to me, is well. Pure speculation. Just because it's a graph, it's not some absolute value like they try to demonstrate here. This is NASA, but they are not necessarily geniuses because they work there.

We know he has ego issues. If it's a celebration of our military, fine. If it turns into a red-square show of might, he'll be roasted for and rightfully so.

I think it will be a celebration.. if for no other reason, General Mattis and Kelly won't support the latter.

Well, have seen plenty of bones in museums, whether the artistic renderings and skin and actual looks are equal, I would say they were somewhat guesswork.

BTW: as a joke to keep this light hearted, I recall a work associate bs ing some guy that diatomaceous earth he put in his swimming pool filter back (before cartridges) then was ground up dinosaur bones. ha. The uneducated buy bought it. Sad.

And what killed the dinosaurs? Global warming? A tornado? A meteor? Aliens landed and ate them all up after shooting hyper advanced particle beam lasers at them to kill them? Nobody knows.

The irony too of the liberal global warming guys flying in private jets like Leonardo Di-Crapio,
doing the earth more damage with their luxury requirements.

I don't think he cares what they think. It will be a show of might, he's going to want it bigger and better than North Korea's. He's inspired by the show France gave on Bastille Day. I went to check what some of the people I grew up with thought on FB. Army brats or those serving now. Not happy. Seeing Monkey See, Monkey Do comments/North Korea. Military being used as props. Money wasted. Money can be spent in other areas, for troops etc.

Reading around other military forums - https://www.google.com/search?q=military+parade+forum&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1

"Organises mass rallies where he spews populist slogans and threats.
Rails against the free press
Stokes his core support with false allegations against his opponents
Inflates and exaggerates everything, when he isn't simply lying.
Hates liberal established democracies but praises and aligns with despots and populist hard men types.
Wants less scrutiny and regulation of everything, most especially his own affairs.

And now he wants a military parade in his honour

And yet his supporters mock people who say he is an evolving authoritarian demagogue"

This is not good, we'll see if this actually happens. Probably getting a lot of negative response to this, so he might fall back. You never know with him.

He wants to see all these soldiers march in front of him, tanks rolling down the street to give him this feeling of power. Just way too weak for my taste.

Thanks to Lisa Bloom, spawn of Gloria Allred, we now know that Trump accusers are paid $750,000 by top Democrat donors to accuse the billionaire president of sexual abuse... A new industry is born

Wow! Talk about stirring the pot.... This would be interesting... if it were true. Don't believe everything you read. Especially from far right wing media (and far left, for that matter). The article is full of half-truths and fantasy.

Hi @Braden Pollock

Welcome to the NP Political Thread, also known as the hornets nest!

Congratulations on your Big Brother of the Year Award!

For clarification: Aren't you married to Lisa Bloom?
