The year 2017 witnessed huge rise in the registration and sales of crypto-related domain names. On the last day of the year Cryptorate.com sold for a whooping $99,888. With the entire cryptocurrency marketcap surpassing that of Apple at around $830 billion. Will this trend continue in 2018?

I don't know about his plans really! But he owns 2 more crypto domains associated with his registered email.

As i heard Abu dhabi UAE have some implementation plans for crypto market in 2018 and some tie ups as well.

bitcoincast.org is mine. What value can you ascribe to the domain? I have it listed on flippa auction with no reserve price.

Why has a domain like this that has supposedly sold for all that money still parked? And why was it listed for make offer on godaddy after being sold???

CryptoRate sold for solid price.

I think the Crypto trend is still continuing and will further solidify.

So why isn't the domain pointing to a website?

Why was it supposedly ''purchased'' for such a high sum? Just for fun maybe?

There is definitely something fishy with this sale,I don't believe this was ever purchased for this price,to just direct to a godaddy landing page?

Definitely a bogus sale directed by the registry(ies) to encourage domain name registrations in my opinion.

I also find it odd that there isn't more activity on this thread from NP users?

IMHO there are lot of domains which were bought in secondary market are parked until they get developed or redirected to already developed site.
