Hi, This is Rich Trader. I have been in the domain game since jan 2016. But haven't made even a single sale yet. I own 32 domains. But not even a single sold. I have invested money in buying and renewals.Any suggestion on how to sell would be welcome.

Quality > quantity.
Newcomers often waste hundreds if not thousands of dollars in the purchase and renewal of dozens of domains.
In hindsight they could have bought just a few domains, but quality ones. Then you have much higher odds of selling, and minimal renewal costs.
Making sales just depends on having adequate inventory. It doesn't take any sales skills in particular. If you have good names, buyers will come straight to you and you take it from there. If you never receive inquiries in years it's not a good sign.

I did a humbling expirenment last summer. I purposely let 200 domains drop just to see what would happen. To my surprise.

200 DNs dropped
75 got hand rigged
6 got developed

all of that happened within a 4 month span

Don't get discouraged. Whatever domain names you buy, register them for 3 years at a time.

When I first started out I bought over 1,000 domains. I listed them on tons of platforms and I barely got any buzz. I let hundreds of them drop.

I forgot that I Iisted alot of them on Afternic and never deleted them. I checked my email a few days ago and I got a sh*t ton of price request from buyers.

To bad I let those names go years ago :(

moral of the story. hold onto your sh*t because you never never know!
Thanks for the valuable input.

And even few can accept not being right.

I think you need to put effort into picking names that are brandable or correctly spelt words. Those are the kind of domains we see being bought on our marketplace. Also, I noticed you don't have any landing pages or contact forms on your domains. We're a domain name parking service with a free plan that hosts up to 100 domain names if you're interested. http://domainholder.io

No disrespect...

These domains are not HODL. They aren't worth putting ANY time or effort into. Don't develop, don't build sales pages. Don't do outbound selling.

Take whatever offer you get and sell quick. Otherwise drop them - soon. If these names were stocks, you would never touch them.

Learn what kind of names are useful assets for businesses to generate CASH FLOW with. Buy and sell those.

Still hard to make a conclusion.

the 75+6 maybe were ok for buyers at reg fee, but they possibly wouldn't have paid above reg fee to high $xx for them.

And you cannot sustain the business with $xx sales. An end-user has plenty of options for mediocre names.

Assuming the end user would not pay above reg fee would be a stretch to say. You can not speak for another person's wallet

You have absolutely no idea what the next person is willing to pay. all you can do is make assumptions

Sir, you need to pay better attention at what is written. "Possibly" means just that - one of the possibilities. So I don't need to speak for anyone.

Basically, what I was saying is that don't feel bad you let them go. Maybe they were great (I haven't seen them), maybe they got picked up because they were reg fee. Again, MAYBE. Basically, you don't have enough info for a conclusion.

one of the .com domain names that I let go, they built a site on it. And they also bought it in 5 other extensions

That's already past $xx

Again, not enough info. I have LLLL.com and I found a radio station in the US that uses that LLLL+radio dot com

I called the owner and asked her if she is interested. She bluntly said "no". I asked may I know why? She said "well, you gonna ask money for it, right?" "Yes", "then, no, I am not interested". And I was willing to let it go for quite cheap, but decided that don't have time to waste on someone that has no idea about a value of a short exact match name in dot com. And she did register her llll+radio in few extensions, though.

xxxxxxxx.org
xxxxxxxx.com.au

Exactly. Thats why I told the OP to reg. everything for 3 years+

In order to be a good domain name investor you have to know the difference between a crappy name and a good name. That way you can feel confident in every single name in your portfolio. No matter what the next person say

Names that you handregged or buy at a low price will take longer and more luck to sell or receive interest. Premium names above $500 will get you more inquiries. So if you want to flip names quickly, buy better names. It usually cost more. It's hard to find cheap good names now adays.

A single reason: these domains are crap. Drop them before the next renewal arrives.

If you can't hand register some quality ones with development/reselling potential now, save some money and invest in buying some good domains in the aftermarket.

You said someone on namepros offered you $700 for 4 of your domains, what happend to that deal, did you not take it?

This information seems like a vote for the names having some good utility.

I've started tracking my drops that get reg'ed, bought, or developed. Mike Mann has one of my drops listed for $50k. He's much more likely to get that price than I was. :jawdrop::wideyed:(y):xf.laugh:

You have a parking page with a BIN price, he has a parking page with a BIN price?

End user doesn't know Mike Mann from Santa Clause

Sometimes you have to let things go to see how the market feels about what you had. I get so many low ball offers it started to make me second guess my portfolio. Which is ultimately why I let some go.

Mike got a few of mine as well. I started pricing my portfolio on par with his. It would be a travesty for someone to tell you that he can make that kind of money for a domain name and you can't. His portfolio is good, but not not every name in there is good. If he paid for your drops, your on the right track.

Some of the names that I see him sell for $xx,xxx+ I think to myself.... If the buyer use that domain name as their business name..... customers will laugh at how stupid of a name that is. Even if it got crap ton of views, aged, so on and so forth...... the name still don't sound good. Nor is it a good name to use for a business.

To each is own though. lol

It get's deeper than a landing page. I tested that out for 3 months and I got more emails from my whois email than I did from the email I had setup for the landing pages
