Suppose,

I registered example.com on godaddy.

Now when I go to the URL, I see a page which says, this domain is parked for free. Courtesy of godaddy.com

Now instead of this page, is there any way to make a customised page with information like the cost of the domain and contact information.

Yes, you need to either use a free parking service like Undeveloped, Bodis etc or a paid service like Efty. You can also host your own landing page but you need to purchase hosting for that

@Kuffy - I think that's only if you have a GoDaddy reseller plan - which costs min. $9/month.

I would suggest Efty. They make it easy for a beginner with all kinds of examples and tutorials.
