While watching the Eagles soar over the Falcons an hour ago, I just thought I'd see if SOAR.today was available. Voila! Any one know what the acronym S.O.A.R. stands for? Minimum bid for SOAR.com is 300K.

Other than maybe Joe from Canada, no one has assigned any value to any of my gTLD's:xf.frown: Anyone care to appraise SOAR.today? Thanks

Bulloney

do u mean SOLAR?))

That's what I meant SOLAR like an Eagle! But I may have got the extension wrong. I believe it was SOAR.Sh*thole....that's it. Sorry for the confusion:wacky:

If you look around you, nobody uses .today (or most other new extensions).
In America where you live, .com is the norm. Elsewhere it is the ccTLD and .com, with a preference for the ccTLD - or the other way round depending on the country. But there are no serious businesses using those funky extensions, let alone buying them.
You obviously like to swim against the tide but you just can't compare .com to arbitrary strings nobody is familiar with.
Start your next business on a .today and tell us :)

PS: at best these names can be used for redirects but they are still too confusing for most people. If you write something.today people will think it is a slogan. Even if you add www. and http:// in front of it people will assume the dot is misplaced and the .com is missing. Confusion is not good for advertising. It means waste of exposure.

So I request an appraisal for SOAR.today, and the stalking and baiting continues? What's up with that? You said "nobody uses .today" Is that a FACT or an ASSUMPTION? You may not be aware of this, but 90% of the one word.today's are already purchased, and to insinuate differently is FAKENEWS.

Thanks for your understanding, and your attempt at an appraisal....try FreeDomains.today for which there's already demand:xf.grin:

Reg Fee. It was available to register because no one else wanted it.

.Today has been around since early 2014 and there are (19) reported sales on NameBio.com.
Of those (10) have been for 3 figures. Not impressive.

That's extremely profound Brad.. did you just discover this .today? or did you discover it xyz, or maybe .click, or what about .actor. I live for today Brad. How about you? You probably live for .com:xf.grin:

If you live for today then buy things with value instead of .today.

I invest in domains to make a ROI. That is why I avoid .today and similar extensions which are not even a blip on the radar screen to end users.

"which are not even a blip on the radar screen to end users." And you know this how? End users haven't even seen them, and if they do, they're confused.today just like you. Like taking candy from a baby:xf.grin:

19 reported sales in almost (4) years of availability... Not sure what more proof of lack of demand you need.

Brad, there's a fool born every minute, and I'm not saying or insinuating you're the fool. If you don't think I can sell a .today whose equivalent .com appraises for $15,000 at GD, you just don't know me:xf.grin: I'm guessing you can't sell it because you don't believe like I do. And this isn't to say the end user is a fool either. I own FreeDomains.today for a reason. Can you even guess what that reason is? Try to use your imagination because I also own DomainImagination.com just to prove my point. Thanks for all the encouragement.today!
