I'm receiving an average of 30 calls a day from India offering a web for any of my domain right now I have more than 500 phone numbers blocked in my phone the problem is that they call me from different numbers that do not even exist, they do not even have a criterion about why a people with more than 100 domains will want a website.

The private whois is not an option, since I have received some calls from buyers, the question is :

Do you have any idea how to solve this?

I have found that I get the calls no matter what as well. Even with privacy which tells me they are probably getting the info from a list that is sold from a registrar.

I have a phone that is turned off 7 days a week connected to my domains. Those voicemails are checked maybe 2 times a week and pretty much all of them are the scams and spam calls.

I have a number I use only for domains on a phone that is 90% of the time off.
Anyone that really needs to reach me can always send me an email, skype, etc.

I also do the same, setup a menu greeting that says, "if you are inquiring on a domain name please press 1 otherwise this call will be terminated." Then once the person presses 1 have it forward to your actual phone number. I used to do this using the phone.com service, its worth it for $15/month. It weeds out 99% of the spam calls.

Ironically, I just read this post after replying here, it seems Godaddy will be automatically masking our phone number beginning Jan 25th.

I'm from India and I'll receive at least 10 calls during my day time. There is no way to stop these spammers!
Spammers purchase these data from other guys who offer whois info for 10 usd here in India!

Install true caller ...it shows spam report calls and calls from web design firms

It's really a problem. I too get an enormous number of spam telephone calls. Especially right after I hand register a domain name.

I have blocked many of the area codes as I do not ever get valid calls from 212 area code and others.

I dramatically decreased the disturbing calls by blocking: entire area codes, blocked numbers, restricted numbers, and unknown callers.

I get more with the more domains I own. Got about 7 yesterday. GoDaddy is masking Whois to help but, not sure how I feel about not being able to have an end user contact you through whois (although thats NEVER happened to me anyways...)

Same as a couple others, none. The number in my whois goes to a secondary mobile phone I always have turned off except for outbound calls or an expected inbound. I absorb the extra monthly fee as part of my domaining expenses, it's well worth it IMO rather than being inundated daily.
