advice How much does a dumb irregular 4-letter domain sell?

Check the current market selling price on shortnames.com and namebio. That's what they are selling for

It is a fairly good investment at current prices, at least $160

if u mean .com then around 150$
other extensions are not worth your time with now for 4l

there are no 4l.com for 20$ anywhere for slae now
if you see $20 then you are either looking at old sales or other extensions

the lowest you will find is around $150 for the dumb ones as you called them

they call those 4C.com (c=characters=letters/numbers)
not 4L.com (L=letters only)

they are worth nothing.

But after 5 years....may be they could be worth something....

A random 4-character .com has no particular value. There may be a few exception for those that have meaning.
Examples of valuable 3C.com: h2o, mp3, and perhaps TV channels like tv1 etc
Examples of valuable 4C.com: I don't have any in mind at present but there may be a few.

Then just register them. People here are trying to explain you that atm such domains are worthless and there is no market for them. But, you can always throw your money in such domains and pay renewals tens of years more, hoping that another buyer like you will be ready to pay more than you invested.

Really, why asking when you have already decided to buy them?...

last year I reg 5 4C.com, the one that sold only 36YR. maybe NNLL.com could works! btw I sell on SEDO marketplace and buyer are chinesee, so NNLL.com could works,
but to be honest, its pure luck, and its to risky!

After five years you will realise you should have spent $150 and purchased a crappy 4L .. at worst you would get your money

Don't waste your money on 4C .com or other ext. Risky gamble.
