Thank you! Definitely feels good. I'll still be in the red for about 45 years but it's all about progress!

Congrats. It would be better and others can learn about what type of domains will sell if you disclose!

It's a bit like the Bus network, you wait for ages then two come along together. I do tend to like the sales period from January to April, as business tend to be looking at what's left in this years budget and already allocating ahead what's to come in April.

Please share some details ( domain name, sale price, venue etc ) with us so the community may possibly benefit a little ( knowing what type of domains are selling n for how much etc ) with your experience. If you are under NDA and cannot disclose the name, thats ok. But you can still tell what category and type ( single word, two-words, type of extension etc.).

Thanks everyone!! Sorry for the delay.. Both domains are currently in the middle of the transfer process so I'm going to wait to disclose the actual names and prices until the transfers are both complete.

Both of them are .com domains; one of them is a two-word domain(data/information category) sold through Sedo (Showcase) as a BIN; The other domain is a short, multi-purpose, non-generic word sold through a family friend. I guess that counts as a private sale seeing as it wasn't advertised on any venues? Both domains we're sold on the higher XXX range. Net profit, after fees will be in the mid to high XXX range!

I will say that I did receive another email this past week about an offer for one of my domains currently listed on a major venue. The email is from a "so-called" company called GMO Cloud Hosting in Osaka, Japan. The email is from a broker that claims to be interested in acquiring one of my domains for one of his clients. He said he found my domain through the WHOIS lookup, and his client offers a "very good" price to acquire it. He also asked if I had any other domains for purchase...

If anyone get's this email, it's a complete scam! I looked up the company on NP and the first thing I found was a feed all about this "so-called" company. They try and bait you into paying for some "certificate". It looks like a real email so definitely be careful!

Got the same email from “Japan” LOL. Thought it was a genuine enquiry at first until he replied me. His Email name changed from one to another. Didn’t seem right and he offered me 30k for some random domain I had lol. Looked it up here as well and found out it’s a scam. Don’t be fooled everyone...

Thanks everyone!

@eNqyddn - For real! At first I thought it was a real email because I had just advertised the inquired domain on a major venue the day before and it definitely looked legit. I probably would have figured it out regardless seeing as they offered me XXX,XXX for a domain that's at the most worth up to the low-to-mid XXXX range, but thank god for NP!

Speaking of, does anyone here know how long the transfer process can take on Sedo?
