Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

Yup, every winter they seem to bump up. Question is, how high this time? Been inching up all week

Teqt.com finished at $160 at NJ.

What's going on? Is 4L dropping? Are buyers losing confidence in namejet.com?

Bottom prices are low on all platforms. They went down from $200 to around $150 for the lowest quality. The Chips are still holding up strangely with bottom now around $950 - back from $850. Brandables and high quality names seem not to be effected.

Understood, but would you consider Teqt.com low quality? Teqt is a 4L semi pronounceable, albeit it contains the western dreaded 'q' This maybe isn't best example since they aren't developed, but domains such as Proteqt.com and Deteqt.com are regged. I wonder how much this will bottom out to. Understanding we're still coming off ATH's.

I don't think anybody would be surprised if sectors which were once thought have been pumped and dumped, are pumped again given domain's being somewhat of an unregulated asset class. Some may say a proof of concept occurred. In theory this CHIP asset class, which through speculation and subjectiveness is somewhat of an art, and as such in defined sets of supply and demand value can assigned, and thus, in some way if sustained, could be traded as moveable currency. Personally, I'd need a better CHIP understanding to make an assumption of what will come from this niche. I'm still fuzzy on P2P "rice" loans, and other foreign things that occur on chinese sites. Any thoughts on what percentage of 4L.com chips are developed? I wonder how many chips are actually in circulation. Circulation meaning how many unique 4L CHIPS have been bought, as inevitably there are some in use that aren't for sale.

Being in domaining for many years, I always had a number of 4L coms which were routinely acquired after drops etc. and were listed for sale with the prices I beleived to be adequate for an enduser. After the 4L madness began, which as it now appears was driven up by namejet shills on "private seller" auctions, almost all 4L coms I had forsale (sedo, afternic etc. but no namejet, I do not use namejet for sales) were sold for my asking prices. Some might be possibly resold from one domainer to another later, however on a spot view (not all 937 pages of this thread) I do not find any. Fine. As a curiosity, I checked what happened with the domains that I sold:
- all are in hands of other domainers, mostly based in China and in India
- some do not resolve to any page
- some do resolve to parked pages and/or forsale pages with cosmic prices. I say cosmic because the prices i set (and that were paid) were, based on my formulas and valuation, reasonable enduser prices.
So, all I can tell - thanks to fellow domainers for helping me to unload the domains I had @ enduser prices, and I sincerely (no irony at all) wish you good luck with reselling them further, but you might want to reconsider asking prices, and current configs, as with the domains not resolving or resolving to $100000 forsale page you will unlikely sell any...

If that's the case, I assume this lot of 63 LLLL.com CHIPS will be scooped up soon? Below link is somebody selling a 63 LLLL.com CHIPS lot for $1,000 each. ...Or am I mistaken?

https://www.namepros.com/threads/63-llll-com-chips-with-bin-tmtn-com-hbcr-com.1054208/

You are, this would sell at $850 - $900 each tops as a batch. Yesterday the lowest sale at NJ was rhdh.com at 958 USD. If he would sell all these domains at NJ individually he would probably get slightly more than $1000 on the average but he would pay 15% to NJ.

Why do they have to be sold at NameJet? Why not sell directly through Chinese auction house? Aren't there other places CHIPS sell? Who's buying CHIPS from NJ? Why not sell straight to them? contact bulk buyers via WHOIS?

bitcoin is the new llll.com so the they wont get a lift unless bitcoin goes to 5000 or 50000 ,5000 because they will pulling money out b4 they lose it all and 50k because they are afraid there gains will evaporate, most of the spec money went to bitcoin, I heard domain Sherpa was bought with bitcoin profits,I don't know how true that is,though

Generally crypto currencies are the new domain hype. When dogecoin's (yes, the meme dog) market cap reaches 1 billion (!!!) USD, you know it's time to sit back and enjoy the show. Everyone wants to quit at the peak, but very few will.

You keep using the word "strange" at CHIPS prices.why are you "surprised"? there must be some fundamentals of it you dont accept or understand.

I haven't seen proof of CHIPS being developed at the rate as the English premium LLLL.com's. Also personally I never had CHIP end user sale, and I had a lot of English premium end user sales. Hence when English premiums can be had at $300, sometimes even below, I don't see why CHIPS is still holding up. Would love to be proved wrong though.

Maybe you're assuming demand for 4l chips is from end users instead of domainers from around the world(esp. china)?Plus factor in the smaller supply of CHIPS. Obv some CHIPS have sold to end users, most likely in China too. Once a big country like China or INdia demands something the price can go very high irrespective of the actual value because its just SO many people who want it. Just my 2 cents. cheers.
