Broke the ice. Was actually sold about a week and a half ago, but I know from my previous sales experience, no sale is complete until the money is in the bank. Money is in the bank today. Mid-high XXX. Completely passive, broker initiated sale from Uni.Very nice, smooth transition, except for how long my registrar took to hand over the domain to the buyer. Will definitely insist on them creating an account so I can push to them next time. It was a short one word .com, in the first batch of domains I registered my first day when I was just going off of my gut feeling based on what sounded phonetically nice and brandable, so that makes me feel pretty good about it. Or I think it's a brandable as there's a chance it could have some meaning in a foreign language. Wish I could tell you what it's for, but in this case, I have zero clue. Because of that, I can't say I learned much from this one, as it feels like it's one of those where the buyer sees something I don't and curious to see what they plan on doing anything with it. Wish them the best!

lol .. that's actually kinda the point of made up brandables .. they are open to being used in almost any way imaginable. That being said .. depending on the makeup/parts of the "word" there could be inclinations of potential use. I'm guessing you didn't post the name because you want to keep it private? And just to be clear .. it was a handreg from your first day? Or a drop? (Good job either way)

Anyhow .. congrats all the same .. certainly feels great to break the ice! :)

Well you know some brandables do allude to a particular category. It also means raisins in Latin. I suppose I could post it now p/a/s/s/a/e/ .com and yes it was a hand registered domain. For awhile I thought it could also be a misspelling protection for passage but for all I know they might see it as pass-a-E. I like domains that can be used in multiple ways but also makes it harder to pinpoint the intentions. And thanks, yes it does feel good.

Congratulations - and may there be many more soon to come :).

You don't always have to understand a buyer's intentions for that money to hit the bank account!
