I have sold a domain on 27 november through afternic fast transfer, the domain was transferred in one day to the buyer, revolving from the next day. My dashboard was showing from the first day that the payment will be made in the next 7 days, as usual. After 7 days, noticing that no payment was made I have contacted afternic support using all their email addresses and through the international phone number, but it was no way to get through. Nobody has answered to any of my email ever. Today, 10 days later I have received the same email from the first day, that the transfer is complete and they will let me know when the payment will be made, when my dashboard is clearly showing from 10 days ago that the payment will be made in less than 7 days. So, looks like afternic is paying now in 20 days or more, even if is fast transfer, the buyer can use the domain from the first day, we will have to wait 15-20 days or more to get payed. Afternic announced anybody that they have changed something regarding their premium network payments? What's the benefit of fast transfer, if you will get paid 20 days later. Now, officially, afternic and godaddy are the worst maketplaces regarding payment time, I don't know any other marketplace which will pay in 20 days or more after the transfer was made.

Yes, the same has happened to me a few times today. I have just received a message from Joe Styler that the payment was approved and will be done in the next 48 hours. Why we need to send 10 emails to receive the payment? Why the payment was processed just after you talk about it on forums? Why nobody from afternic doesn't answer to any emails and phone calls? What will happen if Joe Styler will not log in to his namepros account, afternic will not pay anybody any more? Why the payment is sent 12 days after the buyer start using the domain? Something is really wrong with afternic and if this is the way to do it nobody could ever get in touch with them in the future and we will wait months or years until we receive our payments.

This is why I ceased doing business with Afternic many moons ago. Too many problems listing, getting paid, piss-poor communications, buggy platform.....

My last Afternic domain sold on Dec.4, also a fast transfer was removed from my DynaDot the same day, just received today Dec. 12th the Afternic Assurance email that transfer complete. No funds yet, I don't really worry or think about these things any longer once the sale is final, I know the money will arrive eventually.

Some of my more recent transactions:

By way of comparison I sold a domain at DynaDot marketplace on Nov. 8th, and the funds credited to my DD on Nov. 29th. 21 days.

Sold a domain on escrow.com , finalized Dec. 7th, funds arrived by way of ACH into my bank today, Dec. 12th.

Sold a domain at domainagents.com on Oct. 3rd, escrow finalized the next day, received payment in my bank account via ACH October 5th. That one was really fast.

I sold this other domain at Afternic (not Fast Transfer), where the buyer paid the full BIN via credit card, was low to mid five figures, on Sept. 21th, sale finalized Sept. 25th, received funds in my bank account via ACH October 2nd.

All the platforms work, you always get paid, just some take a bit longer than others.
