A correction to my post since I can't edit at this point. I just checked and B/e/a/u/t/y/S/w/i/p/e was bought at closeouts for $20 and not hand registered.

Congratulations @SuperBrander ! (y) How long did it take to sell each from the time of listing them? And how large is your portfolio?

Thanks @Findom. My portfolio is around 1300 domains at the moment. It was at around 2000 at the beginning of 2017 and I plan to get it down to under 1000. As for the hold time- I had S/t/a/c/k/a for around 8-9 months. C/o/i/n/T/i/g/e/r for a little over a year. Same for B/e/a/u/t/y/S/w/i/p/e. F/e/m/S/e/n/s/e around a year and a half. A/d/N/u/t around 10 months. I might be off by a bit, but that's the ballpark.

I've checked your marketplace and you have some nice names and I know you are selling cheap some BB names, so I suppose you have some handregs/closeouts names, but also some more expensive one's. If you don't mind, can you give some insights, like how much % of your names are handregs and how many are aftermarket buys and how are you regarding profits for all portofolio/year, like xx/xxx/xxxx/xxxxx. If you don't want to divulge any info, I understand.:xf.wink:

@boker Thanks. Like everybody else- I've been using promos so it was easy buying a lot of domains for cheap, especially last year and at the beginning of 2017. Renewing, however, is a different matter and I'm quite picky even though I'd love to keep more. It just eats into profits too much. In 2017 I started using more of my profits to buy higher end domains. I don't have exact numbers of aftermarket VS handreg but the great majority of my domains were hand registered. To my estimate 1000 of the 1300 I approximately currently have. Regarding profits- the income was mid $XX,XXX so far this year. I invested most of it back, mostly on purchases.

Gra/al - $130 - via Undeveloped, a couple of months back.

Didn't think much of it at the time, since I was going to drop my .al's. But I see all these great recent coin/crypto sales, and it just reminded me I recently checked to see if the domain was used, and suffice to say one should never do that if you sell cheap... Don't know what hurts more - not putting that $130 straight into bitcoin back in the summer, or knowing I could have gotten 100 times more for it.

$1030 net (purchase price $300)

C*J*1*6*
$79.2 net (purchase price $2)

C*o*u*r*t*n*e*y*W*o*o*d
$159.2 net (purchase price $14)

In .COM

All of these sold via Afternic fast transfer at BIN within last week. I transferred my 170 domains to network solutions two months ago through free transfer promotion. Seeing only benefit to list as Fast transfer at Afternic.

There were two more sales of $100 each but cannot disclose names. Private sales, handreg sold privately inbound offer.

Funny thing. Elsewhere last week on NP

I was advised to drop this same domain.

The buyer is probably still half way over the moon as they can't believe their luck

Eventually there will be a part exchange service for used coin where used crypto coins that were supposed to be the next bitcoin weren't but are still great buys for long term investors etc

The perfect domain for such a service is usedcoin.com

So, I'm happy with the sale. Let the buyer does whatever he wants with the domain.

Waiting when crypto- second market will emerge is too speculative and may never happen. Besides, many alternative (synonym) words exist for the word "used".
