NemoHost Owner Cancelled Sell.

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Hi,
I dont really know how to say this, but when i got back home today, i checked my emails as i do everyday, i found a PayPal emaild stating that a refund had been made. I spoke to Kevin and he cancelled the sale, he stated that "Ijust did not feel comfortable with the changes" and also that he was starting up an Adult hosting company, so all i can assume is that his deal with that fell though, thats another reason why he cancelled the sale. So to all the customers that would have been hosted by us, we want to apoligise, and let you know that Kevin is back in charge of NemoHosting.com.

I felt this thred was needed because we did make a deal with a few of the customers and i wanted you all to be informed of what was going on, so as from now, NemoHosting.com has nothing todo with the Domains Alliance group, that includes NeoMedia-host.com and HostingFx.net.

Sorry for the inconvinience.

Thank you

Sin

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
PolurNET Communications still has bought a part of Neomedia-Host, and thus it is a new division of ours. A general press release yesterday confirmed this. Although PolurNET Communications hosting customers will not see any changes as a result, Neomedia-Host will see major improvements in both the quailty of services and end-user experience. We also believe the Domain Alliance Network will help establish NeoMedia-Host even further.

We hope those who are dissatisfied with NemoHosting will consider either PolurNET or Neomedia as feasible alternatives, since NemoHosting is set to be sold any time soon to another company. We suggest their customers do some research to see what options they have to ensure their hosting services remain in good hands.

If you have any questions, feel free to bring them up here.

Cheers,
Anand

Good decision, it's bound to be sold to another company eventually. Just remember to keep backups of all your files on a remote server.

Rest assured, these new positive developments will increase reliability and quality of services of NeoMedia-Host, compared to NemoHosting

Wish you all the best with your new plan. :music:

Check this press release from yesterday out:

http://namepros.com/showthread.php?t=96234

NeoMedia-Host is now considered a division of ours, since we purchased part of the company. All current services remain the same, and we are still acting separately, but just some business & name-related issues will be different for NeoMedia-Host (eg. Division of PolurNET Communications, Part of Domain Alliance Network [from before]). This may also mean improved services in the near future, since we will be working together.

NeoMedia is not for sale, and will never be, but just some corporate-related issues were slightly changed.

Kevin, not to be rude, but if you wanted NemoHosting to be a "decent" host, you should have continued the sale.

All I can say is WOW. Over the last few days, all the stuff that was said about NemoHosting and Kevin. The reason why he backed outof the deal, this is what I was told, he did not want the Sin to have it becasue Sin was going to stop all the free accounts and adult sites on the server. I found out that the site was sold and asked why I was not offered a shot. He explained everything and said if I had the money the site was mine. Payed him and walla. I am the new owner.

Sin, sorry if you feel stuff was done wrong, but dont judge me on that issue. He was just looking out for the best interest of his clients.

Now I was reading about people complaining about the server running with all these users and overselling. I can tell you now in the next few weeks we will be moving to a more powerful server that can handle the load.

I hope this is the last time that there are issues or bashing of NemoHosting.

Joe

Any proof to show that you are the new owner?

Yes, that is correct, i was going to stop free hosting accounts and Adult sites, A) I was going to stop free accounts because you dont make money by giving stuff away for free, im a business man, not a charity, and B) I am not against pornographic material, i just dont want all the legal stuff that comes along with it, as a host, you are responsible for the sites that are placed on your servers, but im sure you already know this. Now, i was told he was backing out because " he had the customers best interest at heart" not them word exactly, but in a round about way, to me, if he had customers interest at heart, he wouldnt have overloaded his server thus, poor web page load, but hey, what do i know, ive only owned hosting companies since 1998. Im not bitter about you having the company, infact, its worked out quite well for us, i like to think that Simon (nomis135) and myself are respected here at NamePros as good people and HONEST people, unlike Kevin who never told me that you was interested in NemoHosting.com. Anyways, as far as i am concerned NemoHosting.com is history, ive forgot about it already, plus this isent about Kevin or or NemoHosting.com, its about our customers, there #1 in our eyes and we strive to support them the best way we can and offer them the best value for money, but keeping our servers running smoothly at all times.

As far as NemoHosting.com is concerned, i dont think they will be rememberd as a good host, theres been to many bad things said about NemoHosting.com. As as far as im concerned, the best advertising is word of mouth, And at the end of the day, its the customers choice who to host with, being us or NemoHosting.com.

Good luck in your venture, i hope you succeed in what you have set out to do.

Thank you

Sin

I don't think advertising your host in another hosts thread is allowed. :imho:

That is not considered advertising Veolus, since it's about the host we bought. If you have any problems concerning an issue, use the PM feature, and I'll gladly look into the post. But please don't disturb the thread.

Thanks for your cooperation

Nemohost has been sold and now the new owners are terminating packages on August 11th unless you pay their prices. :(

Thats really unfair, i know someone who paid for 2 years.

And this right here is exactly why you don't ever do that. It's a hard one but it's a lesson learned for them I bet. Welcome to the cold, harsh world of hosting...sheesh.

I may have some more bad news for you....two days ago on MSN the person(s) that own NemoHosting.com asked me if i wanted to buy it from them, but i said no, so now they dont want it no more and are now letting accounts expire, and as far as im aware your accounts will be closed as of the 17th, because that is then the next payment is due for the server, so i thought i would warn you so you can backup ALL your work just incase this does happen.

Thank you

Sin

Going by there terms of service they will need to pay back what your owned unless the site is closed due to abuse etc so you do have rights.

If cancellation is done by NemoHosting due to restrictions violation, there will be no refund. NemoHosting will only allow for the discount if cancellation is not the fault of the client, as determined by NemoHosting.QUOTE]
