Do I REALLY Need To List Everywhere???

So I am getting back into domaining after a bit of a break and am thinking of how I want to promote my domains. I generally post on Godaddy, Afternic, Sedo, and Efty.

For the domains that are under pricing with Godaddy I forward those domains to the Godaddy page that shows it for sale. Those same domains I also have listed for the same price on Afternic (since they partner with each other). I then also have them on Sedo listed as a BIN for the same price. Because the domain already forwards to Godaddys page to buy it do I really need it on Sedo to?

The domains that I use on Efty landers are also listed on Sedo but as a make Offer (same as the Efty lander). Do I need those same domains on Sedo to?

What could I lose if NOT listing on Sedo since again they can just contact me direct from the name itself via the lander? Do they trust Sedo MORE then the actual owner?

Your thoughts are welcome...

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Afternic is the only one that really matters.

I put mine on afternic with a BIN price, then i list them on Sedo and Undeveloped with make offer. Id prefer not to sell anything through sedo anyway because their commission is rediculous

Afternic has the highest commission of the bunch at 20%. But still the only place worth listing because of their end user reach.

Sedo can hit 20% but I think that is only for their mls partners.

Afternic doesnt have the $60 minimum though like sedo does, i tend to try and sell my domains off at $99 if i get no interest at the high prices, afternic is good for that

I list on afternic, Sedo, and use undeveloped landing pages, which seems to be a sufficient amount of platforms

I see. Well I would never sell a name for 100$ so its never been an issue, but I am picky with my portfolio. If you want to throw your names away why dont you do it here at NP. Its commission free.

If you list as make offer on afternic do you still get high exposure to end users or is it only worth listing on afternic as buy it now?

Thank you for the replies. So it seems Sedo has lost its touch per say and may be used just as a "why not" place but not hold to much weight behind it. Will keep going forward with things for the new year the way I kinda thought about .

If you list at sedo, at the most annoying time you will get emails with $90 offers, and when you counter, they will just close, and walk away. The odd time you can catch a break, but at the end of the day where you point the domain will get the most action.

I get a steady stream of contacts via our portfolio landers - apart from that I list on Afternic (BIN) and Sedo (Make Offer). Seems to work well for me, however, I would consider dropping Sedo.

Is there any problem to submit and sell a Domain that you just registered and didn’t pass the 60 days? In Afternic and sedo for example?

It can become an issue if the buyer does not want it at that particular registrar, otherwise they will ask you to push the domain to their holding account instead.

*Edited* as the initial quote has since changed.

I would like to thing what long time ago some NP friends told me: If a buyer is really interested in a domain, he will pick it somehow, anyway. Hope will be so :)

Im seeing a lot of afternic and sedo sales lately from namepro users. I'm sure it doesn't hurt to try them both out. Just make sure you remove the domain from either marketplace after you make the sale.

Can i just ask again if you only get added exposure in afternic to end users if you list your domains as buy it now rather than make offer?

Will domains still show up on godaddy and the other afternic network if you list as make offer?

GD premium is where I have sold 99% of all my domains. I have them listed at GD, Afternic, Sedo.

GD premium how much cost and namejet

Godaddy is free to list (and for those domains I foward them right to Godaddy) and I am not sure about Namejet sorry

Did sedo ask you to pay a fee like $10 before listing?

So most of your domains stay with GD?

Only marketplaces for lesser value domains ("brandables") charges you upfront. Like brandbucket.
