Hello all designers!

Deadline: 7 days
Prize: $50 ($100 if we like the logo and will use it)
Logo: "Fandrops" or "Fandrops.com"

Webshop with game merchandise products.

We are thinking of a playfull logo, with the "o" in the Fandr"o"ps as a gift, box or a package of some kind.
The idea behind this is simple that we are a gift/merchandise shop.
You are welcome to try everything you want and we will give feedbacks to guide it further to what we want.

We hope for many tries so we find the logo we want.

We have announced this competition before, but unfortunately due to surgery and some problems everything got out of hand. We are now back on track and will pick a winner.

Good luck!

Hello @Jonathan Mikalsen
here is the another approach to requested task of having gift delivery package sign within letter "O" of your brand Fandrops. This version is utilizing a box bag image as more stylish form for gift merchant business.

Please provide feedback if interested and I could tweak and mod per request. Regards

We really apricate it. We will go through the different types, and come back to announce a winner.
We need a couple of days to go through all of them and decide.

Winner announcement.

The choice was not very easy as there where many good trys.
But after some discussion we landed on DesignPros logo with the red triangle that consist of the letters "FD".

We want to thank all of you that participated in this logo compo, many talented people here.
Keep up the good work and good luck to you all! :)

@DesignPros please message me so we can discuss how we make the details around the transactions etc.

Thank you

Congrats as well, albeit the OP misled contest by requesting application of box as can be read above, instead chosen was the actually minimalistic industry type logo. Regards and greetings

@Nik Pantic I am sorry if you felt misled as this was not the intention.
Even tho a box design was described in the competition specs someone was still able to come up with a logo design that was "outside the box" that we happened to like.

We did not know exactly how the logo should look like and are open to all solutions, but we had some ideas that might help the designers to come up with suggestions so we atleast would get some trys that would be close to what we had in mind.

You should be the creative part and you are allowed to think for yourself, and someone was able to do it in a way we liked this time. No one told him to make this logo, but we happened to like it so therefor we chose this one as the winner.

A tip for you next time you participate in a competition. Read the description but dont lock yourself into what it say. Nothing is written in stone. You should make up your own mind, and try different solutions of what you think would be suitable and cool. You might get surprised of how well your own creativity will be received.

Thank you

Excuses again, but have to complain these are the exact misleading points that you made during contest period:

-Firstly, you've announced the contest with title : Game merchandise // chosen art work doesn't not provide any aspect of commonly known gift and gaming merchant

-Secondly you asked the box image incorporated into logo image // chosen art work doesn't respond to that

-Third in your commenting you are mentioning creativity open thinking and so, but your preferred and chosen idea is still just an industrial type, a minimalist symbol that at it's best can serve as computer gaming logo and not appealing as welcoming for a convenient game merchandise and gift store - as what you've introduce your business is, here.
Especially your referencing, on the awarded logo(#2 post in thread) that, "No one told him to make this logo" - but further, in your response to that submission you have asked again for a box image amendment.

How would the contesters here take approach to your requested ideas when you are lacking to provide info and describe(?).
In every custom services industry that is utmost rule to specify and abide with the exact requests.

With all that, it is not an issue with "lock" or lacking of sense by me but failure of good project management practice by OP-you!

I dont understand why we are discussing this and why you keep bringing this up as an existing issue, but I will give you an answer this time.

We are the one in need of a logo. Someone designed a logo that we happened to like. I think that is great, the contest worked the way we hoped and we got the logo we wanted which I believe is kind of the point?
Many good tries here and talented people, we can see that.

We wrote some text about our idea of how the logo should be, is your point that we are not allowed to chose a logo someone comes up with that that falls outside our description, even if we happen to like it? Or are you simply just the arguing type that want to bash me because I made a description of what I had in mind at the time we announced the competetion?
How about we had some ideas on how the logo should be, but we did not know exactly what we wanted until we saw it. It seems to me that most people here want to send their regards to the winner, and some even say that this was a good contest. But you want to make a issue out of this? I dont get it, but I do know I dont want to waste any more of my time on this.

To your information we went through all logos and we like many tries that we almost went for.
Here are some of the names with tries we liked and valued as candidates to win this.
@DesignPros (Winner) @umxca , @galalogo , @RJMV

To be honest your try @Nik Pantic gave us assosiations to a parfume shop rather than gaming. :)
