Japan market? Do they desert the .Com already?

.jp is used mostly I believe.

Could be that it wasn't available when they were starting out, but it became available later on?

I have noticed that the Japanese are pretty loyal to their extension though.

I think it was owned, but web.achieve.org have nothing about it. So I guess it was owned by a domainer.
Well, I would sell it for $30 instead of dropping it...

Here I'm sharing a live example.
ssdrone.jp is a new company launch on 2017.5.
ssdrone.com is on sale for about $600.
The japan company doesn't want to buy it. So the owner is now letting it drop. I wonder if anyone would pick it up.
