I have tried hard to verify that it is stolen but original owner is ghost, but having done this for a long time, I trust my gut that this domain is stolen. Plus, NOBODY would sell Monday.com for $35,000 which is what happened. But serves the Israeli group who bought it right since they committed tortuous interference to get the domain in the domain in the first place!

Are we saying the group who bought it used torture to get the deal done? I am confused by the story here but do not doubt the torture :sarcastic:

@Acroplex -- did you ever confirm if this domain was ever actually stolen?

Looking at Historical WHOIS, the WHOIS was updated on June 2nd, 2016 (the same day this thread was created) to DaPulse.com. DaPulse.com is the same company in the video that rebranded to Monday.com.

Seafoodman says it sold for $35,000. But I don't see that reported anywhere, so not sure where that figure originated. Seafoodman also said the Israeli Group who purchased it committed tortuous interference to get the domain in the first place. Does anybody know the basis to these serious accusations?

Looking at the historical WHOIS of Tuesday.com, WHOIS shows Media Options as the owner of Tuesday.com at the time this thread was created. Perhaps, they [mediaoptions] or [seafoodman] was trying to acquire the other days of the week .com, and was caught off guard by the sudden WHOIS change of Monday.com? I don't see how a WHOIS change equates to tortuous interference though. What am I missing?

According to DNPric.es, Monday.com sold for $7,989 on Sedo in 2006. Sedo Link HERE

Don't know why is this news? They publicly (on the website) announced name change in Nov 2015.

Who announced their name change on what website in November 2015?

This particular thread was created in 2016.

The DomainInvesting.com article I linked was posted today. On Monday.com's blog, they released the video announcing the name change last week on November 5th, 2017.

I am trying to figure out if this domain was ever stolen in the first place, and what tortuous interference occurred in the acquisition, which was alleged by seafoodman. The WHOIS was updated to the current owner the same day seafoodman created thread was created. Was this a stolen domain, a legit sale, or...?

No idea. I did not claim it was stolen in the first place. Drew's username was "Seafoodman" back then, hence my post.

Thanks for the quick response! I'm aware of who made the claim. Apologies if my post tagging you wasn't clear.

I tagged you because I was curious if you were able to verify the status when you responded to this post in 2016. Not sure if you ever received the info you needed to publish a report like this.

Sometimes requires you to follow what's going on, memorize or dig down very deep. DomainInvesting sometimes have a strange questions, for example related to the domain name Surf.com. Not in use? but It is used only for Ireland http://ie.surf.com

Explains why I never viewed it as stolen. If @Acroplex and I think it looks clean... odds are...it's clean.

I think now it's safe to say that Monday.com wasn't stolen.

Drew probably had is reasons to think it was stolen and he was just informing people to be careful.

NOBODY would sell Monday.com for $35,000 which is what happened. But serves the Israeli group who bought it right since they committed tortuous interference to get the domain in the domain in the first place!

I just don't know where this price and information about Israeli Group came from.

Was apparently just sour grapes

Lol can also be just that.
