domain Hypenated Domain or .net extension

Planning to buy a domain but the .com is already taken i still have the .net extension and hypenated .com also available which one should i pick. I am going to create a blog and write so which is better?

Ex:
Word1Word2Word3.com -Taken
Word1-Word2-Word3.com - Available
Word1Word2Word3.net - Available

Thoughts and Suggestions please

Buy both. Split test the traffic. To avoid dup penalties post alternate articles / vids to each.
When one is doing better than the other forward the second to the first and move all posts over.

Would that be a good way to resolve it?

Or, just go with the .net and forward the hyphonated-com to the .net.

Personally, I would try to find a different .com name that didn't have any hyphens. I'd probably only develop in .net if it was a strong one word.
