The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. The aftermarket continued its early 4th quarter hot streak with three major sales including a $2 million blockbuster that ranks among the year’s three biggest sales and another in six figures that is the biggest .net sale thus far in 2017. That one was matched by yet another six-figure sale of a one-word .com. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2017/20171101.htm

Thanks for continuing to put together the list! I try to check it out every time it is published.

Thanks indeed Ron. I always nice to see how you manage to filter out the 'spurious' sales that others seem to quick to publish.
PS I wish you wouldn't leave to the Monday or Tuesday though to tell us there's No list this week, It's the first thing I do here in the U.K on a Thursday morning. First a quick scan then a leisurely read with breakfast

Wasn't surprised to see (dot)coms and "sex" related names make the list but a LL(net) and a (dot)co.nz (even in the probably most trafficked and biggest niche) and the registrars I am not familiar with

Thanks for the thread...

What do you mean by "blockbuster"? Domain name?

Well if I (not a LLC) found a word inappropriate in a thread title, I would use the "report" buttom and let the mods/admin make a decision! Except for capitalization of proper nouns, I try not to be "anal" about words...

Aren't you the same guy(S) who don't want to read anything about crypto or blockchain on any domain blogs? If so, I'm sensing a pattern of unnecessary arrogance coming from you in your replies

Putting aside the arrogance of DomainNameBroker(S)...the fact that ETH.com - the symbol for ETHEREUM - sold for $2mm is a massive endorsement to the critical importance that ETHEREUM, itself, will be in, and already to, in the world's future.

This clearly is a BLOCKBUSTER sale - and not just because of the huge price tag.

In case anyone isn't aware of the incredible amount of interest the world has in ETHEREUM, I'd suggest you perform the following experiment:

type the word "ETHEREUM" into search.twitter.com, and click on the "latest" tab. Then leave that browser window open for a couple of hours and come back to see the number of 'new results'
