ETH.com has just sold by broker @Sharjil Saleem under NDA. This was just announced in GB.

I'm not sure if this has gone to The Cryptocurrency Ethereum which their current market Cao is now at $30.7B catching up to Bitcoin $44.3B

Congratulations to Sharjil Saleem on the sale as I'm sure it would have closed around 7 figures.

I had read somewhere that Ethereum.com had $5M offer before ETH.com was for sale.

What do you think ETH.com sold for and who bought it?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I'm pretty sure BTC and ETH prices right now are bubbles waiting to pop. Real BTC base price is around $600 and ETH is around $50 in my opinion. Give it 2-3 months and price will only go down.

Congrats to the seller. Awesome sale.

bubbles historically collapse around 75 to 90% from their peaks, so that is a fair target.

Is this a legit sale?

I see his account is restricted, any idea why?

I thought I heard his name before, then I remember the thread below:

https://www.namepros.com/blog/exclu...million-dollar-domain-investment-fund.912489/

And the editor`s note on him: (The credibility of Sharjil Saleem continues to be called into question, and extreme caution is recommended.)

I don`t know why exactly the editor noted about this guys credibility, and I don`t claim that he is a spammer but once I saw this thread and his name I remember an old post which I posted above.

Too bad we can't find out the names of who bought certain .eth domains.

Some paid big money for .eth domains . Could they be a market for eth or ether or Ethereum .coms?

Everyone says new tld's suck and many domainers are dropping them so why are .eth the "cats meow"?

Just hype or fad or is there an steam to it?

Just an FYI... .eth domains are selling for huge numbers. I'm talking hundreds of thousands and the domain community hasn't a clue.
Thank you for enlightening us.

They should have just gotten eth .coms . At least there's a market.

So the money in eth domains really are just .eth? or are there NDA sales going on? Anyone?

Thank you for enlightening us.

Yea but the only one to benefit from it is thee owners of .eth.

And what about resale?

Like "so you've paid $300,000 for burger.eth now what?"

BTC (bitcoin) will eventually reach much higher levels than where it is today, but like any stock, there will be ups and downs. Been holding and accumulating BTC since 2013, and in no hurry whatsoever to sell and have never sold any bitcoin.

Saying that "the party is over" for BTC today, is like people who said the same about TSLA stock when it was at 100. The party MAY be over for BTC someday, but it is FAR from over today.

Actually it has all the ingredients for being over for some years. Much like dot com stocks.

Wait and see. By the way, the NASDAQ and DOW are higher today than they ever were during the dot com "bubble." Real Estate in premium areas is higher today than it was in 2005. BTC is the premium cryptocurrency and will go much higher and stay around for good.

People "vant to buy" and in the end, will buy buy buy whatever appreciates and is in demand. Stocks. Real Estate. Precious Metals. Currencies. Domains.

My investments in real estate, stocks, precious metals, collectibles/art, domains and currencies (including BTC), have all gone up over the years. Time is on the side of investments. You can't win if you don't play!

Ok so one of my LinkedIn connections just announced the exact price of this supposed eth.com sale. Wasn't this NDA?

Oh boy! To be nice. I won't say here but you can pm me guys.

Not sure if it was just speculation on that person's part.

But he seems trustworthy when it comes to info he posts.

Wasn't the amount I expected though. Thought it was more actually.

What ingredients?

The general public still has no clue what btc is. Meanwhile investment banks are being swarmed with customer requests to buy. You can imagine where the price is going once regulations are cemented and the masses catch wind.

That said, the better opportunity is in other coins like Boscoin for example. Good luck!

Estibot says ETH.com is valued at $119k so it was expensive :)

Estibot has no clue what Ehterum is, nor it's marketcap.

That is why you need to sell these things when topics are current, or you will be the guy waiting for VHS.com to make a comeback.

I think eth.com was well beyond $1 million as a sale.

Thank you for enlightening us.
You’re welcome.

These addresses don’t act like traditional domains so buyer beware. But, very cool to direct a random string of characters to your firstname.eth for example.

I think this sale will be over reported when it comes to price, not the truthful number. I had some dealings with this person last year on namepros, it was like a living nightmare dealing with him, nothing made sense, no real answers, and a deal does not mean a deal, by any circumstances. There is a reason their account is restricted.
