I have some four letters I am selling for around $35,000. that I think are better, that have only two different letters in them. Just goes to prove that patience is key.

Don't sell your four letters cheap! Hold on to them until the right buyer comes along.

How do we find Enom sales records?

Yes I saw it on shortnames too, just wondered if there is some way to search all Enom sales directly.

NVNV could stand for "EnvyEnvy" )

Envy envy, lol, yes sure - but wouldn't explain why a Chinese buyer. nvnv.com goes to a Chinese landing page right now but it's so soon after the sale...this could be the old name servers prior to the sale. The WhoIs shows a Chinese registrant, but again, it might not yet be updated to the new owner.

NVNV represents 女女 (female, female).

The Pinyin for 女 is nǚ but in computer-speak becomes nv.

It looks like there are some letter combinations that make sense to them, while others are simply useless. I remember there was a thread explaining this, when chinese native-speaking members explained this choice of "low-quality" letters.

Allegedly sold at eName -- not eNom.

Thanks, the sale price makes lot more sense with that information.
