Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

NameSilo
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Wow congrats mate!

I have also a sale to report. But it is just a very small sale. I am much more successful over the years in affiliate marketing (my main income stream). But a sale is a sale and i hope it is a sign of good fortune to come... I have listed my B quality domains for sale and my best ones are not for sale.

Sold today on Sedo / landingpage.

VRP@rnDeals in king for €200.

I hope we will all see more sales to come over the next months. Good luck to all.

Thanks mate! Good stuff. That's a good price on that name. A sale is a sale. Thanks for sharing it! All reported sales are good for the VR industry and all of us. For those who keep them private, I can understand your reasoning but I would encourage sharing and if over the threshold reporting it to Namebio as well especially when there's no NDA which most do not involve. I'll post details on my sale when Escrow is settled as no NDA this time.

Just been search around for some keywords i have in .com and spotted some new companies that i never saw a couple months ago

11grdwo.jpg

Can only be good news, never struggled getting offers for that domain though, it’s on page1 of GoDaddy's most popular VR domains in terms of offers received.

What I’ve struggled with is getting offers on hangregs and its renewal time end of this month so made my mind up, majority of those are getting dropped, come to the conclusion even good VR domains are difficult to shift after a good name of mine yesterday failed to even receive a bid in auction for mid-xxx, so average to decent names I’m just not going to waste time with anymore.

Going to keep about 20, but the $2000 or so i’ve spent on handregs in the last 2 years I’m just going to put down to experience and hope the 20 or so i’ll be keeping make the difference up in sales what i spent there eventually.

Hope everyone else is doing well (y)

How many are you going to drop?

I feel your frustration mate but it was always going to take a while to take off. I’d say give it another year before you make any decisions you might regret.

But if you’ve made up your mind I wouldn’t mind a look and possibly buy some from you.

Yes the seller has a great ROI. Also good to see a VR+keyword+keyword sell for a nice chunk of money.

Still sitting on VRfloorplan(s) and have had a few offers, as high as mid xxx but holding out for more.

Excited to see this sale as I still believe real estate will be a huge market for VR hardware, software and service providers.

Catching up on some VR news... the Oculus Go looks exactly like what the VR market has needed, hopefully this means good times for those who have stayed strong with their VR domains!

AMC is launching its own VR app with a 360-degree scene from The Walking Dead

Television networks and movie studios have been regularly leaning on virtual reality as a marketing tool, and today AMC announced that it has launched its own app dedicated to VR tie-in material. Simply named AMC VR, the app is available now for iOS devices, Android, the Gear VR, and Google Daydream featuring a collection of material tied to shows like The Walking Dead and Into the Badlands.

AMC will also be capitalizing on this weekend’s season premiere of The Walking Dead with an extended version of a scene from the episode that will be presented as 360-degree video. The scene in question will be an encounter between Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam), and was directed by the show’s Greg Nicotero, with VR filmmaker Kevin Cornish (Teen Wolf VR; Remember, Remember) co-directing.
