Renew it and make a deal.

WOW I WAS ABLE TO RENEW IT LOL. It's weird cuz GD removes your domain after 5 days, yet somehow Name.com is awesome and lets you renew for only $13 even if the domain is expired for 20 days.

gd removes after 42th day, name.com removes at 30 when not taken at expiring auctions (when was at Namejet, do not know what will do with godaddy now), if not taken removed at 40th day

Yes but GD charges you $80 after the 5th day. . . Name.com keeps the price at $13. Just never deal with GD. I'm starting to reconsider them a lot now. I used to think they were the best registrar, but. . . :D

$80 is after 30 days or so, and anyway you can transfer out till 42th with normal fee to other registrar so who cares for 80

oh wow. I could've sworn GD asked for $80 to recover a domain that only expired for 6 days. So I just let it drop. darn. I could've renewed it or transferred it wow.. . . . . .

It's not a scam - if you go to the web site in the signature, they're a Cleveland company, so it makes sense that they want a Cleveland domain.

I also thought it was a scam. I find it weird that I only get inquiries or weird emails about expiring domains. it's like the registrars are hiring these people to contact domainers to renew but do so in a sneaky way. but imadoer convinced me to renew and NJ gave me a good price to offer. ^_^

"We were interested in possibly purchasing -->your website<--
--not domain name

"Hava a good day!"

sorry this doesn't look to promising to me

Why don't you just go to the web site in her signature? Accellis.com is obviously a real Cleveland company.

"Hava" is just a typo / quick typing, and she's probably not a tech expert, which is why she said web site instead of domain. A couple of weeks ago, I had a friend ask me about "web sites" when he meant domains.

I reread the email. I think it's not legit. Who says "were" instead of "are" and there's an r missing from "your"

You're right about the site too. They're an it tech company but don't know the difference between a domain and a website?

Someone playing pranks
. . .

It's not a prank, it's real

She said "We were interested"... it's just the way some people talk / write.

Don't listen to frank-germany about this, or anyone trying to tell you it's fake.

If you go to Accellis.com, and click on About / Meet The Team, you can even see an about page for her.

This person checks out as a domain Admin for A*****s domains. Looks like she has enough experience not to call an undeveloped domain a website. So its just a matter of is someone using her identity.

Hopefully not Good Luck

I think you should delete her name from your post... maybe like above.

If people Google her in the future, this page isn't really a fair thing for her to have turn up in the results.

I've got this type of inquiry before from a potential buyer.. she said website instead of domain name.
Ended up the domain name was sold.

Now it is a live website for an online game/game developer. Not everybody well verse in domaining world imo.

We all have our favorites...mine is Epik. No games, codes or clubs...just low pricing (8.10 for a dot com if you a pre-fund...8.49 if not and privacy included free if you choose to use it).

Please let us know how things go...hope you make a sale!

(btw, don't sweat grammatical errors or technical name misuse...just the different ways people communicate)

I thinks this is legit inquiry if she used email format name@accellis . com ..

If they replay your message with something like suggesting you to buy products/certificate etc, it's 100% scam.
