Who is Gregg Ostrick, Person owns 50,000 domains, and

I saw his name in whois a few times such as ItsYou.com

No, I am not, most people are amateur domainers who become upset when they have an idea to develop a site, and they see he is just parks it, from what google search pulled up, I guess when you own 50,000 domains that are pretty much parked you might tick off a few people who want to purchase or develop, and brands, and TM's get cross referenced.

That made me inquisitive about whether I have met him before at a conference. I could only find three pictures of him online. We haven't met.

Can't take those domains with you to the grave. So, he better start selling them. Otherwise, what's the point? The average person knows nothing about domaining so even if he left them to a family member they would either just let them drop or sell them for far less than market value.

It's a mystery. Call Scooby and Shaggy to solve this one.

wt...??? Some people own 4, 5, 6 or more houses. Can't live in them all, and can't take them with them to the grave. And if the person has no siblings etc. to leave them to, should they sell them now so other people who wish they could own one of them can use them? Good grief..., the reasoning of some people.?!??

Alright, sorry to bring up an old thread. But were investigating the possibility of acquiring a domain name, so did a whois search and found this "Gregg" guy who I've never heard about.

He's not on LinkedIn, anyone know how to contact him?

The domain I'm interested in does not resolve..

It’s a shot in the dark, but you could contact the attorney who is the registered agent for the GNO, Inc. filing in Delaware.

Exactly Rick has nowhere near 50,000 let alone 500,000.

Maybe guy is planning to take over the domain market somewhere in the future, as popular names could be quite popular someday

He owns some great names, and has made some big sales. He bought many of the names during cheaper times than we are seeing today.
