Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

HTC brings VR to the cloud

HTC has teamed up with Dalian Television and Beijing Cyber Cloud to test the first cloud VR service in Dalian, China, according to Engadget.

Rather than tethering the HTC Vive to a PC, the headset will be connected via a 60 Mbps broadband connection, which provides access to VR content from Viveport, HTC’s VR platform.

Storing VR content in the cloud also means consumers no longer need to wait for downloads or use PCs, which could improve the overall user experience.

Google Daydream's web-browsing features surface in Chrome

At Google's I/O developer conference in May, the company announced that it was working on a VR version of Chrome that could work in Daydream. Well, Chrome development team member François Beaufort announced on Google+ today that the first set of features are now ready for you to test out.

Through Chrome 61, users can now browse and interact with websites in VR. Just open up a website on Chrome and then slip your phone into a Daydream View headset and you'll be able use any website as well as take advantage of immersive viewing with sites supporting WebVR.

With these first steps, Google joins Samsung and Oculus in offering VR web browsing. Oculus' Carmel VR browser is currently in developer preview, while Samsung's Internet for Gear VR browser has been around for a little while now. But Beaufort says this is just the start for Chrome. In his post, Beaufort said, "This is just the beginning for web browsing in VR so stay tuned, there's more to come!"

vr-ventures...hyphen + plural + 2nd tier kw... JMHO, but I'd let that one fly... (Also, I can't speak for anyone else, but I've personally done well with colors - red, black, blue especially - so I might hang onto "purple" name - Not sure why, but folks seem to love to brand on colors! ;))

You are the master at getting offers on VR handreg domains bro (y)

About a week ago i took your advice and redirected my domains to the GoDaddy listing page, so see how that goes, got a low offer last week for 1 of them so that’s progress.

Domains I’ve invested in that’s not virtual related (only invested in a few) I’ve not had any problem selling, sold a domain today close to $1000 that I’ve only had for a few weeks, wouldn’t mind selling some of my VR handregs though and that’s something I’ve struggled with.
