Hi

I've received an email from Godaddy saying Thank you for choosing afternic and click to authorize your participation in the Afternic program. It then says before your domain can be listed for sale on godaddy and other etc... then there is an authorization button to click.

It is definitely a genuine Godaddy email. My domain is registered with Godaddy but it is not for sale. I didn't add it on afternic nor do I have an afternic account. Someone else has tried to add it seems.

Has anyone experienced this? What do you recommend I do? Just ignore the email and obviously I won't click authorize?

I've checked my account and nobody has access etc so nobody has gained access etc.

What should I do?

Thanks

Yes, ignore the e-mail and also write the [email protected] asking them to remove the listing

I have experienced it before, contacted support, they confirmed the domains were added in bulk by a trusted domainer. It was a genuine mistake.
