How many .ca's do you own? Post your best 3 - any age.
I have 115 + picking up 5 or 6 from todays TBR.

1. Choclat.ca - Yup, 30 million North Americans know it's a typo. The other 300 million think it's French for chocolate.
2. Infinis.ca - Latin means "Endless". Only got it a week ago through the TBR - but it's my fave. Infinitely brandable.
3. ColdFlu.ca There's a multinational Pharma with $75K for my pocket out there.

Post out your best. Fill out the poll. Don't be shy!

Too many, mostly medical cannabis domains (some registered trademarks)

Unsure of my best; however, I am rather fond of some of the recreational ones:

DominionofCannabis.ca
CrazyCannucks.ca
TheBongShow.ca

Good topic, certainly interested in further discourse...

A corporate presence (or representative) also allows non-Canadian residents to legally purchase .ca domains.

Since Canada is poised to legalize cannabis by next July, the .ca extension may help prevent inadvertent importation across borders. ccTLD's aid in geo-location and may help consumer confidence. Being a growth industry in many US states and internationally, it makes sense to have both TLD's if available, particularly in that niche.

so pot dot com is worth more now?

IMHO XXX dot com trumps XXX dot ca because of larger market, perceived value and asking price, transfer-ability, supply and demand of decent domains in that extension, averaging 10x more traffic on identical names.

At least POT dot com is up there with the BIG BOYS, but it's definitely oldschool B-)

In a new age of marketing, traditional weed names may attract baby-boomers who are not plugged into FB 24/7. gTLD's, new products, advertising and government regulations have medical marijuana domains on a short leash. That might change in the near future with legalization of recreational cannabis, and down the road as the market matures in Canada, with a statistically larger proportion of 420 consumers potentially creating a .ca bubble.

Pot dot com is worth more now, and it will always be worth more. However as legalization takes effect here the gap will begin to close for names in this particular niche. I don't know by how much but as Canadian companies establish themselves in this field they are going to need to brand themselves. That should increase sales and prices.

The other thing to consider is that all of these companies are essentially at the start-up level. Some will succeed, some will fail and some will drop some pretty amazing names along the way!

Well I'm up over 200 now. There were some $2 registration deals and I was busy at the TBR. My favourite 3 are still on the first post but I like these ones too:
militia.ca
chiffon.ca

And I picked up VRLife.ca at this week's TBR.

Anybody want to show anything new?

Just picked up: e-games .ca (has a hyphen, but according to google, that won't affect SEO)
