Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

NameSilo
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I was going to post about RenderToken the other day. They need to get more organized though, and they just pushed the pre-reg out 3 more weeks.
It will be interesting to see how Decentraland.org will perform. Exciting times ahead with VR (y)

PhoneCast lets you play 2D Android apps in virtual reality on Gear VR

In case you don’t have enough things to do in virtual reality, you can now run 2D-screen Android applications within virtual reality on the Samsung Gear VR, thanks to a new version of Samsung’s PhoneCast app debuting today.

The app works on the Samsung Gear VR headset, which uses your mobile phone to give you a VR experience. The PhoneCast app’s Labs enables you to run games and other apps in VR, including livestreaming apps that let you stream videos to the giant virtual screen in VR. It creates a 2D window within your VR environment. Within that window, you can run Android apps.

Leak: HTC VR Standalone Is Named Vive Focus

HTC has already announced that the Vive is getting a standalone version but thanks to LetsGoDigital we know that it could be called the HTC Vive Focus. The system will be built around Google’s Daydream, which is confusingly the same brand it uses for the headsets you pop a smartphone in. But Vive Focus will be a fully PC and smartphone-free system.

The trademark was registered with the EUIPO and USPTO on the 8th of September. All of this could point to a CES 2018 launch announcement – I have previously had Vive demos at the Vegas trade show. I’d expect HTC to announce the product ahead of that though, considering there’s already teasers on both its site and Google’s. Perhaps a co-announcement at the Pixel 2 launch? After all, HTC is still a Pixel hardware producer – although the Pixel 2 XL is being built by LG.

EnterVR dot com sold yesterday on GD, but I don't know the final price as I followed the auction only until $585, I see namebio haven't added this sale on their website.
