Not planning on selling this anytime soon as I've completely cut down the ngtld section of my portfolio and decided to only have room for 2-3 premium ones that can be developed.

With that said what are your thoughts?

Renewals are a little over $100 a year. Not great but not horrible either. With some work it could pay for itself.

I like the domain ,but hate the renewal price ,which is gonna be a drag,ii reminds be of houses in the nyc and they keep going up because of reasonable taxes but jersey keeps jumping the taxes ,so if you own a 600k its hard for people to afford that nut with 16000 in taxes which will be 20000 in 3 years ,where as ny goes up just marginally. This being said I think your domain is probably worth in the 1500 -2000, I don't like hack so much being you can buy great one word .info s for dirt dirt cheap ,,so an end user wouldent know the difference from yours and financialhelp.info ,he just knows that he saves a c-note every year.
Thanks for inquiring ,I was able to pick up a dropped extension that I think has at least a $500 bill attached to it. Good luck with yours Ben

Thanks for your opinion. I wouldn't accept anything in the 4 figure range for this name.

My thoughts.
'Financial help' sounds like a name aimed at people who already are in trouble vs people applying for credit but being otherwise in good standing financially.
The right end user for this one could be a support group or some public debt settlement agency. I don't think it's the kind of end user who is going to turn to the aftermarket.
In domain names you usually want to avoid negative keywords. Here, 'financial help' suggests personal failure, bankrupcty, state handouts, dependency or emergency relief. In my perspective, 'help' is usually associated with charities and .org domains. Or forums eg computer help etc.
Good luck.

I like the name because it makes tons of sense. It is very authoritative. Literally tens of millions of people need financial help all the time, everywhere.

What Kate wrote above has to be taken into consideration though, it is a good point. What I can imagine on the other side is that it can be used as a page which will redirect people to the website of some larger bank institution, or loan provided. It is probably not the very nice use of this domain, as we can doubt that banks and loan providers will really help people in trouble providing them with additional high-interest loans, but this is my feeling when it will end up :) Life is not fair, and mainly when people are in debts.

Googling this term, it gives the nice result: "Financial help" - 3 190 000. Now, as for investment - I do not like that USD 100 renewal. But, we know about new gTLD domains (I know that you know too) which pay for themselves, when they are parked. So test this name too. If it happens that this domain makes $8 or more per month, then you are freeriding - you can keep this domain in your portfolio for years to go for free. I can not estimate if this will be the case, but I would park it now and test it for 2 months or so.

If you find out that there is no revenue (it can well be), then you need to estimate whether you can sell it for $1200 or more during next 10 year, as this will be the holding costs of this domain. I would say it is pretty possible, so basically, all now depends on whether you can pay 100/year from your funds until you can sell it. It can sell IMO for up to 15k in next few years to come, and low(er) XXXX around this time, but we need also to consider the current probabilities in new gTLD portfolios of such a sale (I guesstimate 1% prob. of sale for this type of name for each given year, if you want to achieve good price and not just to flip for around reg fee). As you stated you have cut down the new gTLD section of your portfolio and keep only a few good names now, so I would then tend to think it might be a good investment (in your particular case). Good luck!

$107 is the lowest possible premium renewal for .Help and that's at namesilo. With new g's pricing for both standard and premium registrations vary by the registrar so it's always best to shop for the lowest listed price. The standard fee is much lower than what you have posted, not sure where you're getting that number from it's incorrect.

Debt resolution, credit repair, mortgage payments it covers a lot of different solutions. I personally don't see Financial.Help as negative at all, nor do I see it as a negative keyword. How can asking for financial help be negative? Solutions like that offer positive conclusions and when you ask for financial help, that is what you are ultimately seeking and there is nothing negative about that because you are being proactive about your financial situation. Based on your logic every top keyword+help phrase would be negative like tax help, debt help, resume help, math help, job help etc...that really doesn't make sense. The only really negative phrase would be depression help because that is a serious mental illness and not something that can be easily solved.

I believe that this keyword - combination - domain has big potential (perfect 'ensemble' of left.right) if developed smart.
Therefore, despite the points that others have enumerated well, it's posible that even - or especially - banks & insurances could have interest in it.
Good luck!

BTW, The (non premium = standard) fee for .help domains lays currently (haha) at about + / - 20.00 USD

i just typed in some random 3 and 4 four words phrases and they all were $120

so, it may not be standard, but it's average for the crap i checked at dynadot

Debt management is a very lucrative market and I instantly thought of that.

It's a solid domain name.

$5K - $15K

*If ngtld take off in the years to come...

I used to do a lot of insurance/loans/debt managements online lead collecting several years back.

Just my opinion. Best of luck.

I recommend selling for best offer before renewal. $100 renewals are as voracious as Formosan termites, not cost effective considering namebio hasn't reported a dot help sale in over 15 months, the all time sales record is $10k and a dot help fan can hand reg strong keyword names like loan.help for $100. The bloom appears to be off the dot help rose. Good luck!

Loan.Help isn't exactly a top word.help combination due to the keyword search metrics, which is why it isn't taken. Math, Debt, Tax, Tech, Financial, Medical, Resume...those are much, much better. I had the choice of buying it and so did many other ngtld domainers...so far everyone has skipped it....because most people looking for loan help aren't trying to get a loan. They are trying to repay a loan and that is considered debt help or financial help. The word "Loan" doesn't really have much value in this extension apart from being a premium keyword. I don't even think loan help gets 500 searches per month, so not a lot of incentive unless you're building a brand.

It is a nice name, the renewal fee is not a deal breaker imho. For less than $10 a month you have a great name.

I always say buy those ngtld that makes sense and no doubt this domain is great and can fetch you a good price. I personally liked a domain lot and i believe any financial company will love to buy this or even new project can be started from this domain.

a few things I noticed

FinancialHelp is registered in several extensions, but there appear to be no websites on any of them if you check in google. That doesn't mean the phrase has no value, obviously, but it doesn't bode well for the fate of a new TLD reg, in my opinion.

This domain would be competing with financial-help.com, which is for sale for $899.

And the first page of google search results for financial help point to what I think Kate was getting at:
emergency financial help at hopelink.org
needhelppayingbills.com find assistance programs from your state
freefinancialhelp.net
though there are a couple ads as well.

I don't see how it would be competing with a hyphen domain that's even longer than the original domain. Even the .net or .org would be better than the hyphen so I don't know how that assertion makes any sense. Ad competition is high and exact match results go on for many pages, even on my geo targeted .CA google search. That price level of $899 represent's the lack of aesthetic and marketability in the domain name compared to it's alternatives. .It's not an eye catcher, it doesn't feel right and isn't really something I see being heavily marketed.

In terms of the search results, there are a lot of assistance/aid programs showing up but also the addresses of debt/credit solutions showing up "near me" in my results and when I look at the ads, in my region I've got 3/5 top Canadian Banks with ads about "Financial Help" as well as gofundme.com with a targeted ad at the bottom of the page "Get Financial Help Today!" as well as a couple of loan companies from Canada like Borrowell.com. I wouldn't say there a couple of ads either, there are ads on almost every page....

It can also be used as a directory website for charities where people can log in find the charity of their choice and make donation and financially help those charities etc..
that'd be a great idea too
imo

Okay, I suppose using hyphens is a matter of taste, as well as the niche and how the domain is going to be used..Hyphenated domains still sell.

I would also ask is anyone already seriously using this phrase in one of their domains?
I find small websites like
http://www.lowincomefinancialhelp.com/
http://financialhelpdesk.com/
https://www.financialhelpresources.com/
Someone could come along who really wants to use the phrase financial help, but if a domainer is buying in TLDs that are so speculative and can cost $100/year, it seems unsafe to invest in a phrase that is not already seriously used by many companies in their domains.

I agree .org and maybe .net would be better than the hyphenated .com, but (if you won't accept a 4 figure offer), I'm not sure what's going to entice a buyer to pay $10,000 plus for Financial.Help instead of going for the .org or ccTLD, which are probably cheaper, in addition to looking and sounding more authoritative than a new TLD hack, in my opinion.
